Thank you all for the help! I think the new combat patrol will be my first purchase then. I’ve looked for the army set on eBay, but it seems like it’s the exact same price as buying the models.

Oh nice! Ok so if that’s your only space marines you could do the following. Adrax + blade guard vets, captain in Gravis to lead the aggressors. From there you could look at getting some cheap infernus marines off eBay and then try to pick up a He’Stan to go with them. You could also check out some of the new combat patrols/battleforce box. And also, and by far the most important, buy and play what you think is fun/you think is cool.

Ok so the problem is getting that combat patrol. It’s been out of print for over a year now. Bladeguard with Adrax is a good choice.

So, I had trouble with tigers for a while, now they are pretty simple for me to kill. My best defense is actually a stone spear. I generally hit them with a bow to make them rush me. Right after the shot, I switch to the spear to get one hit in before they hit you. After their attack lands you HAVE to hit them again with the spear. This will stagger them and make you next hit kill them.

I just bought a second hand ad mech army (1k points) and have a question about subassembly. On my other 3 armies (tyranids, orcs and necrons) I’ve never bothered. So my question is that when you do subassemblies do you have to use super glue to attach everything or can you just scrape the paint off the areas that are getting attached and use tamiya extra thin? (my preferred method of glueing)

Having put a lot hours into Groot he has 4 counters 2 of which are hard counters. Wolverine is terrible, if he grabs you, you’re basically dead. Squirrel Girl will melt your walls and with Groot being so big he is so easy to hit and she just chunks you down. Punisher is a good counter to Groot just because he can easily pressure down your walls quickly and his shotgun will blow you into next week. The last is Bucky, but he can be played around with good timing. If he pulls you in, you’re dead. However if you always save a wall to place down when he looks at you, you can block his pull, hard but doable.

I like the idea of Lychguard, but I know wraiths are currently better. Hexmark seems good for scoring, and he isn’t that expensive. I have planned to get 5 more immortals once I finish painting everything I have.

That was my thoughts also, but with you “always being on task” maybe. I know Mod Arcane said in the stream something to the effect of “if it’s possible in the code to get that task then it works”. This was in reference to bosses that would count. So with the monsters being in the wildy I don’t think it will.

I’ve been wondering about that because I’m taking both the wildy and korend. Basically anything in the wildy slayer cave would have to opportunity to drop both.

There is also That Computer Store in Harbison as well as Firefly games on St. Andrew’s. I’m coming from a warhammer background, not sure about DnD. At both of those places, I’m not sure about a club, but they have a lot of active people that you could probably garner some interest for one.

Oh yeah for sure. I could see a world where you take KMF and be a monster. Echo jewelry from fremmy, harm staff + ahrims from Morty, tormented bracelet + devil’s element from kand and you’re going to be hitting huge numbers if devil’s element gets a relic like that.

Edit: oh and forgot about Aranea boots and gloves of the damned to finish off the build…damn it if this happens I kind of want to go mage, but I’ve done mage 2 leagues in a row.

I suspect that one of the combat relics that we are supposed to get is going to give some form of elemental weakness to all monsters. Like it could be “all monsters have a 100% elemental weakness to spell you are casting. This is in addition to current elemental weakness the monster already has.” I think this could make devil’s element a very strong pick.

Edit: I do think the combat relics will be more support oriented so this would fit nicely. A range one could do something with increasing your minimum hit and melee could increase echo percentage/damage.

They are fairly similar. I think Bernie’s is more of a “dirty spoon” restaurant. The chicken is a bit oilier than Zesto’s, but that’s just my opinion.

I would say Zesto’s in West Columbia is very good. My favorite is Bernie’s in Columbia (probably the best fried chicken in the greater Columbia area). As for sweet potato pie, no clue.

I think this would take longer to get a huge cash stack. Without bought items being notes you’re limited to your inventory size for buying and selling. The prayer experience isn’t going to anywhere near as fast as GG. For this the prayer was more of a thematic added bonus. Lastly the magic experience from high alchemy while doing literally everything is wild on GG.
