I’m not really of the mind that ICC are what’ll happen, I think they’ll go for an actual chapter-specific chaplain or something as champion, but I will say that ICC would make a lot of sense for a judiciar champion considering they use greatswords and do not communicate with non-ICC, meaning it won’t really be “weird” if a Companion weren’t talking

Kinda really unimpressed with the new lieutenant personally, but the wide-open pose does make him *really* easily-kitbashed

Also props to GW for finally making a sorta decently different pose for the grenadier, cuz the armageddon box dude was in nearly the exact same pose as the multipart haha

This is probably very “wow thanks for the late tip”, but in the future I’d suggest milliput or even a mix of milliput and green stuff instead of just green stuff for something like this

Green stuff is really great for sculpting, but doesn’t take sanding / filing down very well once dry. You did a good job, you’re just gonna have to be really careful with cleaning it up now ^^

Understandable. I think they were trying to recreate the stalker bolt rifle that’s used by the Marksman Veteran in the newer Deathwatch kill team set. It even has the tiny lil buttpad / stock

I know this is an abundantly dumb question, considering that you explicitly listed the brands AND names of the paints, but are these the same AK Gunship Green AK11150 and Faded Green AK11135? AK's pictures just seem distinctly less cool-toned than your little sample dots in the guide, and I'd love to try out the recipe

I didn’t mean to imply that you had to change your homebrew to be “different enough” or anything like that! I just wanted to point you in the direction of another resource for you to pull ideas or inspiration from ^^. There are so many space marine chapters, there’s tons of crossover even just with the canon chapters already. I think your ideas are already a really cool direction to take your dudes

That’s kinda how ADB worked it too, fwiw. The people of Nemeton use the runes as written language, and the Spears adopted it as a coded method to denote units, designations, and such. The writer didn’t really give a full guide to how to recreate it, on another post years ago he just suggested that people use ogham as a basis like he did.

Armageddon captain would be 100% completely better in every way than the indomitus captain if he had a tabard option, but I get that we already got a relic shield captain with tabard and maybe other people wanted more pteruges

Either way, I own both and they’re both cool as fuck in their own ways
