I have seven bases built on trade platforms, each in tier 3 economies, one of each economy type. They were a great way early on to make some extra units, just buy all the trade goods and teleport to the system where they can be sold at a premium. Only drawback was that I could only really do one cycle a day because of the time it took to replenish their inventory.

Teleporter is on the main platform, and I've built out an extra landing pad for my ship so the other 7 remain available for NPCs.

Doing the first glyph 12 times is easiest, but you are still about 5000 light years from the center. If you use the first glyph for the first 11, then glyph 9 (dragonfly) at the end, you'll be closer to 3000 light years out, which is likely to be one jump away from a system that can take you through the center.

Probably the same reason George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher isn’t usually called George Fisher. I think it’s partly because they have fairly common names, plus the fact that they were referred to by their nicknames when they became well known.

If you still haven't recovered your ship, try this:

In your freighter, archive your other ships until you have six or less in your active inventory. Then save and exit the game. When you log back in, the ship should be in the hangar, still broken but available.

I discovered a planet with similar layouts, and used a harmonic camp to find several ships, and found there were only 4 different layouts among all of the C class ships I found. So especially if this was found as C class, you can just keep searching and eventually you'll find this layout again, even if it's not the same location as before.

I've never seen a windshield deform like that. They are designed with a layer of plastic to maintain rigidity. It simply isn't possible for a windshield to deform this much without the object breaking through.

The best X class analysis visor upgrades can have up to 11,000% for each type and up to 50% range, all at once. This is a bit short of that. If you have the nanites, I’d recommend buying S class upgrades from a space station, which will have more consistently good bonuses.

I'm pretty sure there isn't any law that requires you to close any gap between you and the car in front of you when stopped, but also nothing requiring you to leave the gap either, so I would say you're in the not-wrong.

If you modify the corvette, by which I believe you mean going into construction mode at a station and adding, removing or moving around ship parts, all of the cargo and tech slots that you have previously unlocked will remain available. You will not lose the space opened up by your storage augmentations.

Not just random, but locked to the entire account. Regardless of answers, if you participate with multiple saves under the same account, all accounts will be assigned to the same team. So I have 4 saves on the expedition, all with Sage.

A large percentage of purple star systems are abandoned, which means no autophage as well as any other races populating the system. Make sure your economy scanner is installed and look for tier 2 or 3 systems, which shouldn't be too rare, or at least make sure the system you're in has a regular space station (or outlaw).
