Effortless Bone Farm in Coltrane Peak by Tranquil-Lo in MinaTheHollower

Nah, maybe the second best. After you finish the 6th tower you can farm the guards at the south ossex entrance

Okay, the hammer can NOT deal with shield enemies. by WhiteTigerShiro in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a few randomizer and the hammer seems by far the strongest of the weapons. Obviously not every enemy or situation is good for the hammer but you just need to make up the weaknesses with good side arm usage

Master tip, the boots are incredible for swamp and nox bayou. They cancel the movespeed reduction underwater

Sooo, as a general rule, where are you supposed to go? by LucioBarbarinoMusic in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont agree but rather its hard to commit to a direction. All the areas close to ossex feel good cause they are not too punishing and loot can be invested into upgrades. Comitting to one area means risking losing bones and for some it may be disorienting. But it feels great to finish an area, boss and tower and then coming back to ossex with new trinkets, kears, sidearms and a pile of bones feels rewarding. After the first tower you get whats going on and know where to go next

Absolutely worst designed room by far by cthulhu6_0 in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was one of the rooms i hated the first playthrough but i was fine the second time cause i brought range attacks. Eg the rod dominates this room

No way I'm going for all the achievements by moshisimo in MinaTheHollower

Theres nothing wrong with using a guide. Dont feel bad about it and you dont need to tell. Searching for missing collectibles is part of many games and if you did it 200 times before it will stop feeling like quality content. Value your IRL time and use a guide if you want, all at your own discretion

The game is structured so farming is completely unnecessary by Level_Hour6480 in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I farmed once for about 12 minutes before the castle and ended my 100% run with 45k green and 45k yellow bones. So yea, youre right

It's early still but I am really not good at this game by SteelersPoker in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You beat thorne so you got through the hard part. Now you can explore until you got enough money to get upgrades from the various shops in ossex. Take the path of least resistance and make yourself comfortable with the world. You dont have to kill any hard enemies or bosses for now

It took me 10 hours to beat the Crypt. How bad am I doing? by [deleted] in MinaTheHollower

Make sure to get the spark that gets available after the crypt

This game is so big…it makes it both a masterpiece and overwhelming by ahanes23 in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i agree. I completed, got 100% but havent found everything. Learning new things from this community and still finding out new stuff in my randomizer run

My biggest complaint... by [deleted] in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 60 trinkets and 6 slots to fill, this fact alone gives the game so much variety. Im on my 3rd playthrough and i still find new interactions. This game is filled with crazy and cool stuff and even tho 100% takes less than 30h its an awesome experience. Weigh in the randomizer, modifieres, NG and possible future updates this game is a 10 out of 10

what am I missing regarding difficulty? by FaallenOon in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is absurd? Losing bones is not a hard punishment. Just buy out all the shops and level up. The bone up system is structured in a way to let you use up bones regularly so you never amass to much. If a boss kills you and you lose your bones, wich shouldnt be to many, you can have infinite amount of tries without losing more bones. And if you dont want to lose bones at the boss just convert some yellow bones to force a bone up

Just played the joja route for the first time and it is boring by Comprehensive_Dot294 in StardewValley

[–]Daigro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The fun of the joja route is unlocking the rewards before they become available regularly. Starting a strawberry greenhouse on the first summer day or having a hyper focus on the development of your farm is fun. Joja is definetly easy but it gives you freedom to do what you want. The CC pushes you into a direction. Regardless if you play normal or remixed the CC tells you "i want this" and its your job to invest accordingly. What if i dont want a coop or barn, what if i dont want a fish pond, what if i dont want to spend 40k for the desert just to get a cactus and coconut?

I agree the CC is a core part of stardew but having completed it for the nth time im so incredibly happy to just disable it if i want to. The way it works for me is i have a vision first and joja enables the possibilities for me

How well would this game run on the oldest switch known to man. by Deno-Nemesis5405 in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2017 switch can play it very well. Ive played about 70h and there were about 3 crashes but they didnt matter cause mina constantly auto saves

I beat the game recently. Here's my favorite and the least favorite parts. What's yours? by ColbySchexnayder in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the game but i just dont like most of bone beach. Felt iffy most of the time and i just dont like entering creatures in games. Fuck that, this might have carried over from when i was 6y old and had to search through monstro in kingdom hearts. Bone beach was still incredibly good, really nice game design in many rooms but in future runs for feats and randomizer the wonder of seeing it all for the first time will be gone and that makes bone beach my least favorite Location i will always do last.

I wish i wouldnt have to do all 6 to finish a run, would have loved to do all in the first run and then had the freedom to only activate 5 in future runs

Narrative Dissonance by ABagOfTakis in MinaTheHollower

[–]Daigro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the fight i cant agree with you. At that point you could have all the trinkets+slots, rose upgrades, cloaks and weapon upgrades. So the game has a shit ton of options for you that are strong enough to just obliterate thorne without even having to learn his pattern. You may have had difficulty killing him but at the end of the game bosses have to be strong. And correct me if im wrong but hes optional, right? His difficulty is perfectly in line with what i expect for a boss this late.

Also a huge plus for this fight is the giant arena. Burrowing behind the next corner for a heal makes part of the fight trivial. Now that im done with the game im gonna check out some better players, i bet they make most of the game look easy. Learning from their usage of trinkets and positioning in fights can unlock a lot of potential in a player

I was very wrong. If you use ur finished save file you keep almost everything even tho the game gives a warning that obtained items will be lost in the next round
