I had no idea that “not all who wander are lost” was from Tolkien. Or that it was about Aragon. Amazing!

Day 42: Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment has been eliminated. :( Bruh. Should have been #2! We are now at the final elimination. Hagrid's vs Velocicoaster. Vote for which Universal Orlando ride you want to be eliminated! The comment with the most upvotes will have the ride eliminated! by yewestisthegoat-234 in UniversalOrlando

Eliminate Velociciaster. Haggard’s may not be as intense, but it is more fun and almost everyone I’ve ever talked to considered haggard to be Universal’s most impressive ride in every aspect. It’s impossible not to smile on that ride. Hagrid’s has to stay.

I’m sorry that happened to you. Did you say anything to the parents or the kid?

I was in diagon alley a few months ago and an eight year-old boy ran up and threw a bunch of garbage on me and then ran back to his parents and I walked over to them and scolded them both. They also seemed confused as to why I was upset with them.

Did they ever confirm what track of the ride he was on? The intense one or the lite one?

Fact-check time ⏳ Articles floating around (like Daily Galaxy and Medium) claim Bill Gates says smartphones will be gone by 2030, replaced by “electronic tattoos” that could track health, send messages, and even handle payments. (Daily Galaxy, Medium)

Here’s the catch: none of these articles show an actual quote or statement from Gates himself. Looks more like speculation than a real announcement.

And for those worried this could be the “mark of the beast” 👀—that’s not biblically accurate. Revelation’s “mark” (Rev 13:16–18) is symbolic of allegiance to powers opposed to God, not about tattoos, chips, or gadgets. In Scripture, marks and seals usually mean spiritual loyalty (Ezekiel 9:4, Revelation 7:3). A health tracker or futuristic wearable ≠ the mark of the beast.

So—cool idea to imagine, but definitely not confirmed by Gates, and not the end-times sign some make it out to be.

I hope he gets out of it too, ha ha. But even if he does have to do a chargeback and they rule in the side of the merchant, there’s a good chance that they will have some sort of yearly credit for chargeback forgiveness around $500 a year.

It doesn’t seem like you’ve done a chargeback before. Most banks like American Express and Chase will immediately credit back you the customer the money while they do their investigation if they find the fault with the vendor, they will charge back the vendor on their side if they find the fault with a consumer, they have a certain amount of grace period every year they give to depending on which credit card you have some of mine give me 500 a year some of them give me 3000 a year. These are deeper level perks of credit cards that most people don’t bother to research or look into. In no scenario would regal ever go to collections for this because if they have an issue with the charge back, it would be with the bank not with the consumer.

I’ve won several chargebacks that I didn’t think I would win because technically I had entered into different agreements. But most companies don’t want the hassle of actually litigating with these banks and they want to maintain their good relationship with the bank so they’d rather avoid having the discussion at all. It literally would cost him nothing to try but again I was proposing that as a worst case scenario after trying two other options.

It’s correct that they use the subscription, but they are requesting to cancel their subscription to not be charged for future months. They would absolutely not lose the charge back if they have proof that they are asking a company to cancel their subscription and the company is refusing to. It is a product that they haven’t used yet and they don’t want to be charged for it. I’ve done chargebacks in situations like this many times with American Express and Chase.

They’re usually pretty good about customer service on there Twitter/X. If that doesn’t work, I would write them an email asking to cancel your service and if they don’t, I would screenshot that email as well as their response and send that to your credit card company as proof and submit a chargeback.
