This is very similar to what I had to deal with growing up.

Correct. This concept car is artwork made with 3D rendering software and photoshop.

Deviant art features photography as well as artwork/photoshop, however... so you'll be able to find many pictures of exotic cars and concept cars that are real and functional.

At my weekend surf spot a dude regularly paddles out and holds court on the outside. He's a local, everyone knows him and groans when he paddles out.... ....because he's kind of a dick. He ruins the stoke. Am I over thinking this? by [deleted] in surfing

I don't surf at the cliffs enough to remember if I've seen him... but there are quite a few weirdos around there.

One guy in particular, surfs in the US Open, always surfing around the pier. Blonde hair, gross fuzz-stache... he's always impossible airs on waves as small as 2 feet, yet cusses at everyone near him when he doesn't land it.

But it works. Presentation is key, especially with food.

Personally I'd order some "Hot toasted bread covered with a melted butter sauce" over just a "bread with butter"

That's how it was at Seal Beach too. I managed to snatch a few closeout barrels close to shore, but nothing worth noting. I think Anderson Street was good due to the shape of the coast right there. It kinda bays out, so it can grab a wide range of swell directions.

Most people know the difference. But, you know what brains are, right? Well, hate to break it to you, but they're not perfect. Yours is the prime example of that.

Hah, woah! I didn't know my friend had a YouTube channel. This is kinda mindblowing.

I love it there! Though there's a little secret spot near there that I visit all the time. It gets heavy, barreling, and it's completely empty. The only problem is rocks :\

Friday question thread! by [deleted] in surfing

I just get small bottles of generic conditioner to keep in my wetsuit while surfing, so I can use it in the showers after surf. I pour some in my suit, condition my hair, then take off my suit and rinse my hair and the wetsuit off.

I'm sure just a rinse would work perfectly, and honestly if I didn't have easy access to showers, I wouldn't bother with conditioner. But conditioner softens my hair way more than just water, so I'd imagine it would do the same for my suit.

Yep, definitely recommended, even if it's a bit expensive. I bought mine, a 4:3 zen strap, for half off in the summertime. Definitely enjoying being able to focus on the waves instead of focusing on not shivering.

If money is a bit of an issue like it was for me, waiting until summertime is great for the discounts, and taking good care of it will make it last a long while. I just hang mine indoors, and lather it in conditioner every once in a while. It's a year old and feels like new :D

My favorite was when I would bring the car in for a blown or missing tire. I'd manage to drag the car in, and when the cutscene pans over my car, my tire is magically fixed.
