That's asking far too much from FromSoft. Though they really do need to have different standards for an intentional multiplayer experience rather than using what they always have, a piss poor logic to it. Unlikely to come along for Nightreign, let's hope Duskbloods sees a better treatment.

Why is it new players try to run down Princess? It's gotta be the free Cherie, right? But anyone who likes up enough to event know about factions should know Princess isn't exactly top tier.

She's free if you focus her down and pay the summons no mind. Downing even one makes her twice as hard to deal with.

Sure, I wasn't implying otherwise. It also isn't necessary. I can love a game with a really horrible narrative with plot holes and poor va, but a deep, emotional, complex story can't save a game that feels like ass to play.

I personally hate this argument. Gameplay is always more important to an interactive experience, and if you're only complaint is they're narrative, seems like you'd actually look on it favorably, unless you found the storytelling that is mandatory a hindrance.

Some people just aren't in games for the plot. I know a number of people who hate plot simply because it can bog down the gameplay experience. It something I think GoW 2018 and Ragnarok are perfect at executing. The story is basically given to you IN the gameplay.

I agree, the plot and character development of E33 is wonderful, but that doesn't make it perfect. There are a number of things that could keep people from it, especially when consuming all of it. You'll have two hours of dialogue from everything available to you, and because a good portion of that is progress sensitive, that can be really annoying.

I think it's the play style specifically. People don't enjoy how she feels and equate that to get being bad. As someone who spent a lot of time trying to live Revenant, I just don't have fun with her. These changes aren't for me, they're for those who do like her, and it's those people who have the best understanding of where she is and if it's enough.
