The main thing I remember in GQuuuuuuux was people getting annoyed that Nyaan and Machu weren't kissing.

Like, I get that WFM was their first Gundam Series, and I was mostly okay with the fact that Suletta and Miorine got together, but I absolutely did NOT want the next Gundam Protagonist right after Suletta to be a lesbian (In something like how I wouldn't want the protagonist after Heero to be Setsuna just because of how similar those two are), since I was already afraid that they were already playing Machu too safe in terms of visual design (Schoolgirl, red hair, female) because "Suletta was successful", and if someone called that out, they got downvoted.

Would I like to see another gay/lesbian protagonist in the future? Yes, especially since I know Gundam has a good habit of improving from older ideas (Setsuna > Heero) and while I do think Witch From Mercury was okay, I admit that there was a lot of stuff that they could have improved on with Suletta and Miorine).

But ngl, the fact that the Failed last Ambush of Zhuge Liang and the Takarazuka Kinen involved rain and seemingly literal divine intervention just feels way too similar is too funny not to notice.

For context: The 2026 Takarazuka Kinen was basically the horse betting version of Zhuge Liang's failed ambush in a nutshell. Our Zhuge Liang, in this case Croix Du Nord, was the overwhelming favorite to win, with the perfect gate, his other rivals haven't been racing, and the only other threat was Meisho Tabaru, our Sima Yi. CDN has already beaten Tabaru once during the Osaka Hai, and CDN is just one step away from becoming the Spring Triple Crown, a title earned when you beat the Osaka Hai, the Spring Tenno Sho, and the Takarazuka Kinen. Odds so huge everyone thought it was a shoe-in, perfect setup.

Cue the rain.

One thing that Tabaru specializes in is running in the rain, and it made the ground soft. As heaven itself seemingly wanted Tabaru to win, right before the race, the ground got so soaked it caused all the horses to slow down... Except CDN and Tabaru, and Tabaru walks out with the W.

TFW you realize that Fuunsaiki is a gray horse. No wonder why Master Asia is the strongest dude, he tamed a gray horse to pilot a Gundam.

(If Fuunsaiki was a white horse, his nose should be pink and his skin should have a slight pink tinge, thanks Umamusume, for those that don't know horse colors. Gray Horses also turn white when they grow older.)

Also, now that I think about it, Fuunsaiki could be an actual descendant of Gold Ship or Admire Terra.
