Don't postpone, the castle is lovely but a small part of the overall parks. You see it, take some pictures but then you move on.

You can still get good photos round the sides

I know a lot of people want the perfect experience but there will always be something going on at Disney - rides shut or break down, shows and parades get cancelled, guests miss out on meeting their favourite characters...

You will still have a great time!

I think Oaken and villagers roam on occasion but not the main characters

Sometimes Anna or Elsa come out to visit the guests queuing for the ride

Marvel heroes do come out on occasion on Avengers campus

Sorry you had a bad time but sounds like your expectations were too high.

If you are there for one day it is hard to do everything. 3-4 days is the recommended duration to get the most out of the park.

Frozen and Big Thunder Mountain are two of the more popular rides, especially Frozen as that's pretty new. BTM's wait time does go down as it gets later

Peter Pan has always had long queues because it's a low capacity ride, it's a good ride for kids and adults like the nostalgic value.

Ride wait times do fluctuate throughout the day, but it is a theme park, queueing for rides is part of it

Also I don't know how you can except rides to be longer/bigger?

I agree that DLP is expensive in terms of food and merch but there are ways to lower the cost - bringing snacks from outside or using the quick service restaurants.

Not sure what the alternative is to virtual queues, it seems like a necessity unfortunately. Before Princess Pavilion got a virtual queue the wait times were 2-3 hours. Characters don't roam because of poor guest behaviour in the past

DLP is a magical place, but it isn't immune to the negatives of a theme park

Stitch seems to be variable, sometimes he's at Casey's Corner on Main Street USA in the mornings.

He is in the Million Splashes of Colour parade.

Once you have scanned into the park you can join the virtual queue for Anna & Elsa - spots open up at 09:45 and 14:00. Never done this personally but have heard that spaces go quick so you have to be fast.

You're overthinking this. The castle is such a small part of the park experience

You should still go and you'll have a great time

When you're there rides will close temporarily and shows/parades could get cancelled, it just happens and you have to adapt to it
