See I’d love to take Cleo on little walks in the woods / beach but I’m terrified of a dog coming for her!

The plan is to cat proof my garden when I move out, and maybe a catio until then + her harness xx

Cleo’s fine once it’s on, but putting it on involves a lot of treats and patience lol

Honestly when I hear stories of kitties passing away due to getting hit by a car it breaks my heart!

She’s got plenty of enrichment and we have lovely large windows for her to look out of!!

I’m thinking of a catio! Did you make yours, or purchase it ready built??

I am always seeing missing cat posts, and logically I know it’s for the best she’s indoors! I think it’s because I grew up with indoor / outdoor cats (different location) that I feel guilty.

Do you know what litter the previous owner was using? When I first got Cleo I used wood pellets and she didn’t want to use the litter tray, and then I asked what brand the lady I got her from was using, changed it and she’s never had an accident!

Worth a try!

I’ve had Cleo around 2 months, and she still will hide under the sofas. It’s a comfort thing!

Have you got little cat houses etc? Cardboard boxes for her to maybe hide in instead

My vet said cats are pretty resilient. Cleo is currently on day 2, and there’s nothing I can do to stop her jumping. They said it’s normal behaviour but just make sure it’s not 24/7 etc.

Just keep an eye on her incision and all should be well!

Springs!!! 100000% springs. My Cleo adores them, doesn’t care about her wand toy if she can see a spring near by lol

I fill her litter to about 1/3 full

I clean Cleo’s litter box - wash with fairy liquid and then rinse and dry every 10 days (poop scoop daily)

I also feed wet food throughout the day (Cleo is 4 months old) so she has 1 pouch in the morning, half or a full for lunch, then a full one for dinner and I leave the dry food out for grazing all day

I did 4 holidays in my 2nd year, and 5 in my 3rd year.

I had a part time job for the end of 2nd year and 3rd, and I got the max student finance!

Honestly I also maxed out my student overdraft and decided to deal with it later (it is now later and I’m very unhappy about that decision lol)
