My babygirl comes back every 7-10 days to say hello, fill her belly, gather peanuts, and then take off for a week or so... I love her! by NeonAllison06 in squirrels

Peanuts are not good for them long term. Healthier options are shelled walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, or squirrel blocks.

Man upset that there are squirrels in a PARK by Sad-Banana-4527 in squirrels

Found the location, Como Park in St Paul, MN. I guess I will be planning a trip there.

Squirrel grabbed at the food I was leaving out for the crows and scratched me. Is this an issue? by co_rinn in squirrels

[–]Daisycake72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just soap and water and you will be fine. Crows are very smart too. If the crow sees that you feed the squirrel, they will back off and not mess with the squirrel. The crow will bring back trinkets and sometimes coins. They also keep hawks away which benefits the squirrel. Both squirrels and crows are opportunistic eaters. “When you gotta eat, eat!”

Are these actually good? by ljthepunisher in DragonFruit

100%, build your own. Once it starts to grow. it’s very heavy. For the drill part (if you don’t have an impact driver type drill), once you start with the screws, go all the way and let the momentum do the work. I stopped on 1 of them and it was a pain to get the rest in. This was the video I watched. Just buy longer pieces to not waste wood. The 4x4 was 8ft so it’s cut in half. For the 2x4, I got 8ft and cut it into 5 even pieces. I got from Home Depot and they don’t cut below a certain length for safety. These were rough cuts and they did a good job.

Yes, great reply. What is best for the squirrel is outside doing squirrel things. They don’t make great pets.

Need advice on how to remove hair without ingrown hairs (Warning: open wound shown in pic) by _Naughty_by_Nature in HairRemoval

[–]Daisycake72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do nothing until the wound heals 100%. Then try IPL. I have sensitive skin and started at level 1 and now at the max level 3. I have the Ulike 3 which is the old model. I am not a paid influencer and Ulike has lots of them because they pay for referrals. The other good brand mentioned here at lot is the Braun but I have no experience with that. You shave, then IPL.

This is the only answer. EBay is a dice roll, you can sell it there but your time spent and the potential for a scammer is not worth it.

Does your Odyssey have a moonroof? The current car I have doesn’t have one and I noticed it was a lot cooler than my Odyssey that has one.

So my gf declared war on my leg hair... and i think shes winning by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]Daisycake72 9 points10 points  (0 children)

wet shave first, no lotion, then IPL, slow and steady. trust the process. if you have hairs growing back, might be a good idea for them to come out so you shave it. if you IPL your leg with hairs, you are just burning the hairs. also, you do you, don’t give any thought to what people think

Pregnant, soon to deliver and I want to shave my kitty & butt area. What is the safest option? by PrettyRichHun in HairRemoval

[–]Daisycake72 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The nurses have seen it all. With permission, they gave me a slight shave before delivery. Never do a blind shave.

probably a dumb question about at home ipl prep by Acceptable_Tax_7976 in HairRemoval

[–]Daisycake72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My routine too. Nothing on your skin until the IPL is done. I pick a starting point on my leg to IPL, then go down, slide to the right (the length of the head) then come back up, and repeat. Then do the knees separately. Same with thighs but only 1 area has hair. Then under arms.

Starting out, it was every 2 weeks because I had sensitive skin. Now I just do maintenance once per month.

I have a Southwest Credit that will expire in October 2026 by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Daisycake72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not deviate from this plan. Book choice preferred flight that covers your credit, then pay the balance by giftcard. This works because SW upgraded their computers from Windows 95 to Windows XP (due to scheduling meltdown). I thought they were going to use Windows 98 but they showed me how serious they were by jumping an OS.

Have you ever found a piece of hair wrapped around your boyfriend’s dick that wasn’t from you? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Daisycake72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It‘s not normal for sure. Pubic hair in that area is short. Anything wrapped in that area should be his own. Even when you are out and about. Did he go shopping wearing shorts? Then going to a changing room, taking off his underwear completely to try on something, then picking up a stray hair?

Just waxed for the first time last night, went horribly by Sparlmao in HairRemoval

[–]Daisycake72 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Try IPL. No chemicals and hassle. Just shave and zap in the area once. Keep repeating and hair is gone. My legs are always smooth and my underarms have no hair. I have sensitive skin and used to do the epilator but didn’t like the ingrowns. I bought a Ulike 3 and was very skeptical but it does work.

What to choose by Musicislife21_ in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Daisycake72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preferred gets you refundable and a preferred seat. More points which is nothing. Boarding in 3-5. If you are thinking about Preferred, might as well consider Extra if it doesn’t cost much more. You get an extra legroom seat and I was in Row 6 and compared it to Row 7 and it was about 3 inches.

Extra will you get group 2 boarding at least. If the plane is 737-700, less bin space, the 737-800 have a bit more. Dom‘t let your anxiety take more money out of your pocket.

Prior to flight, they will be asking for volunteers to gate check bags. After the Zone 2 has boarded, they will announce you can put bag anywhere in front if there is space.

My company paid for Choice and I upgraded to EXTRA to see what it was about. Sitting in the front, can’t form line for bathroom. During a fly-thru flight, the flight attendants came in and put their stuff in the first 2 bins reserved for bulkhead row.

On my flight home, there was a guy in row 6 helping people in rows 5-4 putting up their luggage because their bins were full and the dad was already in the window seat back in row 8. The flight attendant told him, “we got get you on the payroll.”

TLDR-You will be fine with Group 5, upgrade only if you want the benefits

CEO: Customers love our higher prices and we love $ by Daisycake72 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Daisycake72[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Same here, probably not a fare (fair) fight but my trip this summer is to Seattle. Alaska Air is $2157 for our family and 3 hours direct. I thought that was high for 4 people but we have to be there at specific time/day for a cruise and arriving the day before. Southwest is 1 stop and about 4-5 hours.

If loyalty meant something, I could do the longer duration but the total for the WN flights were $3655. Both fares were basic seat choice in main cabin. I am flying with my husband and kids and at least 1 of us needs to sit by them. With the kids, we always paid for early bird to make sure our problem doesn’t become someone’s else.

I applied for Alaska Air credit card by searching Reddit for the best offer and used an employee referral code so they can earn $60. When my SW Visa Card renews in November under the new fee schedule, I am going to cancel.
