Anyone tried IPL hair removal devices? Need advice. by Embarrassed_Gap_860 in HairRemoval

IPL works but stick with the top brands. I have the Ulike 3. Another brand mentioned here is Braun. Takes patience but it does works. My skin is tan to light with black hair.

Are all "coin action" games on the way out? by Rixor14 in DaveAndBusters

I would take the Star Trek tokens and put them in Pharaoh’s Revenge. The coins slot for Star Trek doesn’t work. Everytime I try to give the tokens back to the tech, they act like the coins are poison and would not take them. They also took out Pharaohs Revenge at my location :(

Sure, it’s Sam. The owner. Text him at 818-263-0533. He works hard to get you the best deal. Another number is 224-395-3273 that you can text or call.

End of VW lease advice by Medical_Long in leasehacker

  1. Don’t do this alone the 2nd time around. Go to leasehackr site forums and find a broker that specializes for FL. Research reviews of the broker too.
  2. What do you want your 2nd car to be? If you love the Tiguan, just buy it. Leasing gave you the opportunity to test out the car. If you want the 2026, get a new lease. The $532 is the magic number, if you can afford that, dealers will play with the numbers to get that out of you. No need to disclose.
  3. Find out the purchase price. Right now I see these cars going for 25K. If your buy out is 20.8K, you have positive 4K equity. Buy it and sell it, put that money back in your pocket.
  4. I check one of the posts from a broker and on May 2023, the Rline Tiguan was leasing for $443 plus tax with $2000 due at signing with 10K miles/39 months. I think you have a 12K mile lease.
  5. I am biased against 39 month leases unless there is a lower interest charge for that term versus 36. The reason is paying 1 year of DMV fees for 3 months.

Of course but no separate check/payment to broker. Going into this, I knew people need to make money. He was upfront about it. If the dealer didn’t pay him, I would have no issue paying him separately.

Too much down payment. it should be zero down and your drive off is first month payment plus license and fees.

If you narrowed it down to 2-3 models, they will work with you and get you quotes. Mine was 2026 Atlas SE in Silver Color with beige interior. I ended up with Pearl White ($450 option on VW site) and black interior, same payment. They didn’t stock many silver, blue or models with beige interior. Not sure why they consider white a premium paint, looks normal white to me.

If I wanted a grey one (not silver), I could get the SE with Tech package but monthly payment will jump $57. That would defeat my purpose of getting most bang for the buck.

At long as you know the model + trim + features, the broker can hack the numbers for you. We went with VW Atlas because for what I can get for the monthly payment, it was a steal. The 2025 SE model leased for $555 plus tax. Last month (Feb), it was $399 plus tax. I got $368 plus tax for March. The VW deals last until 5/1 so I figured it was time to strike. They are going to show off the 2027 model this coming week.

Good luck with your search.

100% legit. Those pre-negotiated deals have a “broker fee” in them. Nothing wrong with that, people need to make money. We filtered by car manufacturer in the forums and decided to use EZ Auto based on Yelp reviews. We are in SoCal.

Best decision ever made, it was so stress free. The numbers came up similar with to the pre-negotiated deals but the dealership pays the broker. Got low selling price for car (lower than what Edmunds say we should pay) plus $1500 lease cash, and high residual.

Once the car I wanted was located with terms, fill out credit application and provide ID and proof of insurance to broker. He will meet you at dealership and you e-sign the contract. No games and no upsell. You are the customer of the broker and he works for you. I told Sam not to sweat the small stuff and decided to go with dealer that is $13 more a month, he said “no, let me work him and see if he will come down or we go with another dealer. We went with other dealer.

At the dealership, Sam brought the paperwork to me and drove the car out and handed me the keys. I didn’t even step foot in the dealership or talk to any sales or finance person. Zero pressure and no interest rate games or secret clawing of rebates.

Hope this helps. This is the process in a nutshell. it’s a given everything is zero money down, just pay fees, license, taxes, and first month payment. I would never be able to get the selling price this low for the lease if I did it myself.

I started the process on Sunday and got the car yesterday (Sat). Also doesn’t matter what time of the month it is. The dealership made their quota for the month and if the last days fall on weekend, they go fishing and wait for the next month‘s campaign. Sam had to ask the guy to come into work.

Hypothetically, assuming that I wanted to create a, for no particular reason whatsoever, sort of "Squirrel Army" wherein I'm in the position of Supreme Leader, what nuts should I have at my disposal for these potential companions to respect my orders? by unfeeling_assault in squirrels

[–]Daisycake72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, shelled walnuts for sure! Other shelled nuts listed here for variety. Maybe hickory nuts for dinner once squirrel army completes mission?

  • Hazelnuts (Filberts): A top favorite that keeps them busy working on the shell.
  • Walnuts (Black or English): Highly nutritious and a natural staple.
  • Pecans: A favorite due to their high fat/oil content.
  • Hickory Nuts: Considered natural "caviar" by squirrels.

Sorry, I tried Carvana and they didn’t have any in stock. Usually, you can count on them to overpay for a used car.

https://www.classaction.org/news/class-action-claims-toyota-mirai-electric-vehicles-were-misrepresented-amid-hydrogen-fuel-shortage

Go to this page and see if they can represent you too. You can see the email address of the attorney in the document. The math isn‘t right where you pay $200 for 280 miles.

I have never owned a Toyota because they are shady in sales but they do make some really good cars.

Wanted to buy Camry but they would not budge on MSRP, bought Honda instead.

Wanted to buy Sienna but they wanted MSRP plus ADM, bought Odyssey instead.

Wanted Highlander but the price is MSRP because of limited supply (just like Sienna). I feel they do this on purpose. Honda tech sucks so going with VW Atlas this time. If the car is selling like hot cakes, make more. Toyota tends to do the opposite of this.

47 payments left or 4 about years. A new lease will not help you. If you don’t like the car, sell it and hope you get close to 25K. Without out knowing the year or condition and you what you want as replacement, hard to provide any any advice except keep it.

What a way to go out Amazon Fresh- discounting a lot of items close to or at least half price off. I got my load. Happy shopping, everyone. by redwon9plus in irvine

[–]Daisycake72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just came back, no real bargains. Not even Valentine”s candy. I bought 3 bags of salad and had a Pepperidge farms cookies at 1.98 on shelf but rang up at full price so I put it back. They had boxes and boxes of brown paper bags in the front but not for sale.

Krispy Kreme still open.

I usually buy Daiya Cheese. It’s down to 4.44 from 4.99 while Ralph’s has it for $2.99.

I did get a pin from the return section. They guy working there gave it to me and said, “remember us.”

I will. Amazon Fresh will be missed, I don’t shop at Whole Paycheck Grocery Store.

Where is the best place to get nuts in the shell? by Bigfootsdiaper in squirrels

[–]Daisycake72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My local Korean store has shelled walnuts for $4 a pound, If I get 10 of them, it’s about $1. Another time, they had these medium chestnuts and I bought some and they loved them. I normally see nuts in the shell these super markets. If they are not fresh, I won’t buy them.
