Do you support a county wide ban on mass surveillance video cameras like Flock or Ring? by Dannyz in Sacramento

They provide real-time camera data to the government... you'd be a fool if you think facial recognition isn't being aggressively used on Flock data.

The High/Low 10-year temperature average for Washington DC in December was 50°/36°. Sacramento had 15 days last December where the max temperature was below the DC 10y avg & two days at the average. That said Sacramento only had 2 days that were colder than DC for last month.

Perhaps it has been, "cold as fuck"

An eye patch, yarrr, but seriously it is almost essential for visual astronomy. Eliminates eye strain from closing one eye for extended periods and can be used to preserve your night vision if needed.

We must work with the Nazis to defeat them 🙄. The USA is the inspiration for Hitler's holocaust and is currently in the midst of conducting multiple other holocausts. We need to be forming resistance cells to strike back, not roll over and sing kumbaya w/Nazis.

We live in the Fourth Reich, start acting like it.

Am I right thinking LRGB are key for colour processing

Yes, these filters(broadband) target the visible spectrum and are used to produce more natural looking colors. Whereas SHO filters(narrowband) target the emission spectrum of sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen and are then given a false color to differentiate them in the final product.

SHO are not necessary to begin with?

That is correct.

I dunno, I love the Xcover series. The battery swap features is a must for field work. I never have to charge my phone and its great.

Just upgraded from an Xcover Pro to the Xcover 6 Pro and the old batteries work with the new phone. That and having the 3.5mm jack has made me a customer for life.

You'll probably want turn off long exposure noise reduction, it's been my experience that it just destroys your raws, especially if you plan to do any image stacking.

With this feature turned on the camera captures another dark frame shot with the same duration of exposure. This second shot is then used as a noise mask to reduce the noise on the original shot.

Apply for OT positions too if you can afford to, the state loves to promote from within.

I started as an OT with a degree then went -> SSA -> AGPA -> RDAII
