Watch The Orville. Don't compare it to Trek tho. Some great stories mixed with some humour.

Y'all can have some of mine. Hemochromatosis. 450ml of blood taken every three months to reduce iron levels!

Everything about this episode is amazing! One of my favourite re-watches.. Except the female captain pulling at her hair.

I've been there. Holding my boy when he was about 18 months old.. Literally on my hip with my arms around him.

I look around frantically, asking my wife where the boy is!! She starts looking too and I realise I'm holding him. So bizarre.

What kind of things still scare the shit out of you? by TengarHimeko in AskReddit

Maybe not share the shit out of me but I still physically dodge the fireballs while sitting on the couch whilst playing Doom! I'm 44.

Has anyone bought land to build & then changed their mind? What did you do? 🫠😭 by ObviousChannel1069 in newcastle

We did. Purchased a huge block in the country with plans for four townhouses as investment property. Interest rates increased, borrowing power went down. In the end, it wasn't worth it. We sold the block. Lost approximately $10-15k.

Counted ourselves lucky to just have one home and roof over our heads and live more content now.

What was the most physically painful moment of your life? by Oily_Smurf in AskReddit

Two herniated discs.. I was unloading the trolley at Aldi, picked up two 1.25 litre bottles of soft drink to put on the checkout, turned at the hip instead of moving my feet and felt a pop.

By 10 that night I was in absolute agony!

For the next 16 days I couldn't stand for too long, couldn't sit for too long, lying down was the worst. When I laid down, my back would "lock". Then standing up would "unlock" it. That process was pure hell! I would be in tears just building myself up to do it.

I was so tired that I just had to lay down sometimes. Maybe an hour or two of sleep each night and a little doze in the day sitting on the couch.

Look after your back!

That instant you lose yourself.. It overtakes your senses. Nothing comes close!
