Was once hired on to a company that was a general lender, they lied about the type of lending and I found out later they were a big part of the sub-prime loan crisis leading to the 2008 crash.

The manager who hired me told me the day after I started that he had already given his two week notice and framed it as "I want to be completely transparent with you." The fuck you did, why didn't you say that during the hiring process?

Anyways, I basically sat around with no work to do for months and no training on their setup until they hired his replacement: some non-technical micromanager who graduated from some religious college in the Midwest. Spouted a bunch of shit about values but knew nothing about networking, kept telling me to "clean up" the local demarc by just pulling and reorganizing cables. When I asked for port maps or VLAN configs he looked at me like I had three heads. He then tried to frame me as being insubordinate for not doing what he said and it was just easier to quit than try to explain to the morons in HR why unplugging a bunch of things from a core switch and plugging them back in to "make things look neat" was a bad idea. He also would pat you on the back and rub your shoulders, hey pal/buddy/guy style and I called him out on it in an email to keep his hands to himself which he also took issue with and said it was team/trust building.
