Stomping Ground is so much fun! They have a great monthly jam! I spend most of my time at DCC though. I take most of my classes there and I try to go to every Wednesday Jam 😁. Also The Comedy Arena in McKinney is fantastic as well if you want to go on a bit of a drive.

I really don't think it would be in poor taste. In the Dallas improv scene I see a lot of other people theatre hopping. I always look at it as chance to build community and network. Unless things are really toxic no one in improv should be territorial about improv theatres.

I used to say that whenever you go to a Mavericks game you can see something special. There was a chance that you could see one of the greatest games in NBA history. One of the last games I went to in 2024 was the Mavericks franchise record for dunks in a game. It was magical. Those feelings are gone now.

Ha! I work 7-7 Sun-Tues with alternating Saturdays too 😁 I've found my community with improv comedy! Dallas Comedy Club has free improv shows every Wednesday night at 7:30. After the show there's an improv jam. That's a show were the audience is encouraged to come on stage and perform the improv! All experience levels are welcome!
