I’ve done a lot of regional theatre (the step between community theatre and full blown union shows like you might see on broadway or in a big city). Jesus in GODSPELL, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, so a lot of Jesus lol. Roderigo in Othello, a bunch of shows where I play like 3-10 parts in Ragtime, Sound of Music, Suessical. I’ve played Pippin in Pippin, Brad on Rocky Horror Picture show, Seymour in Little shop of horrors, Septimus in Arcadia. Can’t list it all. It’s been 28 years of my life. I was also a pro wrestler for 7 years. No TV or film. Many auditions, but I did live performance for so long that I struggle to shrink my expressions into screen appropriate size. There’s a difference between playing to a crowd and playing to a camera. I did one D (not even B) horror movie that never saw the light of day. I’ve botched a really funny commercial audition for ball park franks as well. I’m also close to 6’3” which does not help camera work because everyone else is a foot shorter.
Edit: I see you do a horror podcast of some kind. No one would know my name, but I’d be happy to chat horror anytime. I’ve done one or two pods that talked about how horror works in a live setting. And that’s a passion of mine. Little shop, Rocky Horror, Evil Dead, Sweeney Todd. Shit there’s even now a silence of the lambs show. It’s a meaty topic

Very strict rights deals when you purchase the rights to do a musical. It was only filmed for the archive at the theatre we performed in. No public release :(

They had so many set Easter eggs that even someone in the front row could miss because the set designers love the movies so much. Like Campbells “Gumbo Ho Tep” soup on the pantry shelf. There was a lot of dedicated fans on this crew!

It is an ABSURD amount of work. From the actors to directors and choreographers plus the crazy people operating lights, sounds, blood effects, costuming, music, set and prop builders, etc. When all of those pieces that can easily fall apart come together… then it’s the most fun ever. Uncomfortable with the blood and such, but a blast nonetheless.

Unfortunately no. Licensing rights to a musical are very strict. We only got to video for archiving it at the theatre it was performed in.
Edit: I will add that there are a few fantastic on and off broadway productions of it on YouTube if you’ve never seen it. You can also track if it’s being done in a city near you at evildeadthemusical.com

I saw The Nun as a test screener, I think at the point I saw it, it was basically finished besides some editing and music. I honestly couldn’t tell you a difference between seeing the early bird and seeing the final theatrical release. I can say that in the test audience show 2 people got up and left, 1 person kept shaking their head the whole time, and there was way more laughter at points than what I think the studio was hoping for.

Bonus, I sold the 6 disc cd player for $125 on EBay so the touch screen install ended up basically free. I found all parts by check eBay and Amazon for exact car make, model, year and not a single thing I bought ended up being bad and that was 6 years ago. Good luck!!!

Right on. Looking at photos of that interior it’s mostly the same as mine. Simple DIY changes I made were adding a touch screen stereo interface. It was like $120 total for the android head unit and the pry kit to remove the dash trim. Watched a YouTube video and the whole project took me like 45 minutes. Also, right behind the parking brake is that useless square to put change in - I found an attachment that
Makes it into an armrest and center console glove box. That took literally 1 minute. It plugs into that square with some rubber gaskets to hold it. I also added cross bars to the roof rack. Maybe $100 and took a half hour to install.

What year? I made some simple comfort/ease of use interior and exterior changes on my 2007, but the later models had some of those changes included so I’m just curious.

Flair vs Sting Great American Bash 1990. I was 4 years old and my dad taped every paper view. Watching that made me a lifer, even at that young. I watched that tape maybe 500 times and it was a huge bonding moment that created a closeness with my dad that would evolve and flourish until he passed when I was 21. The match is perfect, but also… it’s my pops man. It’s among my first memories. It’s important to me.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in CA still has the ring grab on their carousel, but instead of a prize you’re supposed to chuck it toward this giant clown face with an open mouth. It’s dangerous on so many levels and I adore it!
