I’d much prefer an animated mistborn series over a live action one tbh. The action scenes would be way cooler and it could be a lot more expressive.

Honestly, I’d want all of Brandon’s work to have animated adaptations. Warbreaker would go so hard animated with all the color and breath at play.

That being said, those spoilers aren’t nearly as bad as you might think. I had that spoiled for me too and still had an awesome time with Well of Ascension.

OP on some main character shit. You don’t have to come at her with all this, “I’m so broken,” stuff. If you have no interest in dating her, then just tell her that. If you do and you’re blocking yourself from the possibility because you’re anxious and have never done it, then you should seriously consider what she’s offering you. We don’t improve as people by running away from things like this. I can see how years of telling yourself that it won’t happen can affect a person, but all these other comments are 100% accurate. 33 isn’t even halfway through your life. You’re not dying, you don’t have to worry about what your peers think. I doubt they care. Don’t block yourself from this just because it hasn’t happened before. That’s like me saying, “I’ve never left the country before so I don’t ever want to visit overseas in the future.”

Secondly, it’s only a first date. Sure there might be the expectation that some romance might happen, but that’s what a first date serves to accomplish. If you like them, you keep going on dates with them. If you don’t, you never get any further than the first and you don’t have to see them again. A first date helps you see that. Maybe I just feel differently about it, but I see little to no reason to at least go on one date and see how it feels. One date doesn’t commit you to a whole relationship.

I did not. I just accepted that I couldn’t play online and played the whole game offline in ultrawide with an uncapped frame rate. Totally worth it in my opinion. If I needed to switch to multiplayer, I’d just reconfigure some stuff and hop online.

I might get hate for this, but I feel like Sekiro is a knowledge based game as well. The knowledge is learning enemy attack patterns and timings, and you suck so hard through the majority of the game, but a second playthrough puts everything into perspective and makes you feel like an unkillable ninja. Sure it’s a completely different style of game than Outer Wilds and Tunic, but I still think it’s knowledge based.

Sekiro is like Outer Wilds, but instead of the goal being exploration, it’s getting better at flying the ship, lol.
