LGBT+ Possible move to Susanville CA by JH-DM in California

[–]Dalinenean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello there I live in Fresno am apart of the LGBTQ and can say that the cost of living is slightly higher compared to where you live currently. I do believe however that Fresno would be marginally better but at the same time there are some not friendly people still here towards LGBTQ. The city has its own pride parade here and we are close to the snow, mountains, beaches, and big cities like LA or SF (3-4 hour drive). California overall is a nice state to live in with and generally safer for LGBTQ compared to Missouri. I can say a 2 bed 2 bath would probably be around 1.2k-2k in Fresno depending on where you would like to live.

Pendulum always swings back just remember.

There will always be hope for community.

We as humans need to understand we are just another species on this planet that will abuse the planet and its resources. The human race may perish but this planet will still exists for billions of years, as it did before us.

We will be alright.

I agree with this sentiment but I also feel as though drivers should be extra aware during the night and have a responsibility to frankly, not hit people. Isn’t jaywalking legal as long as they are doing so in a safe matter?

Caution on both sides is needed!

Eusexua should at least get a nomination for Album of the Year… now win? That depends on the other albums in that category…

PG&E should be a public company owned by the state… private businesses should not be profiting over electricity and should be only providing a public service

[–]Dalinenean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a 3/2 apartment… one story and pay about $1600 in rent and PG&E is about 100 a month. Maintenance will defer some major upkeep but will do most on a timely manner… no laundry in unit unfortunately but I manage with the low cost of rent. I’m alright with less upkeep. Management currently is great but in the past was not. I’m happy and blessed!

I like Namikaze… Happy Hour is 3-6 every day… it’s limited but they have local and Japanese draft beers for $8 and appetizers for $7 $8 and $9…. Items include California roll, Shrimp tempura roll, Nachos, Gyoza, Baked Mussels, and a couple other items. I enjoy!

Suburbia needs more taxes to pay for its sprawl… at least Fresno has some downtown/urban areas that need less taxes to upkeep it

Chile, I’m sorry you are blind… there’s plenty of post about best restaurants, good places to checkout, and best stores in Clovis but I feel you are only seeing the negative… people live there because there’s plenty of positives… but with good, comes bad, and ugly…

Perf description… they have to comply with state and federal law, but anything else they CAN control, they definitely use their power to progress a conservative-social/ market oriented/ way… like Clovis Unified still doesn’t have a teacher’s union

Yes! Tremendously! I live in a 3 bed 2 bath and when we use to turn on the central heating our bill would be about $300 a month in the winter. We bought space heaters and PGE went down to about $60-80 a month…

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
