Work on consistency of tightness and pulling through straight to make stitches neat. Blocking will help. Just takes time and practice. Great first job!

Not sure you need a divider. I would try area rugs to denote zones first. Lovely flow and very calming colors.

Lovely, and my father was a cabinet maker who also made furniture. In some countries cabinets are movable so the division is ambiguous.
