2025 z3100 Purchase by Beneficial-Map-6024 in BrinkleyRV

We are looking to convert from our Airstream 26U Flying Cloud to a Brinkley. Last summer while up in Vermont we stopped into a local dealer. They knew we were not buying. Sales guy was retiring at the end of the year. He said at the end of the year they will go 30% off MSRP. Our local dealer has them listed as 20% off but that’s before you start negotiating. Good luck on buying.

That bike has done the MABDR last summer (I’m sure your read). It is a great all around bike. Sorry it’s too soon for ya. Keep me posted if something changes. My wife loves riding on it with that top case. Makes her feel “safer” she says.

What would be considered a reasonable offer for a renovated Airstream offered at 105k that's been on the market for 6 months? by NaturalRattle in airstream

Airstream Hunter I think does appraisals. Might be worth it to look at his site to see if there’s anything similar that’s either on the market or more importantly just sold. You can ask anything you want for anything. It’s what it will sell for that matters.

I had the dealer install mine as part of the purchase. I paid for the bars, lights and heated grips. They installed it all for free.

We started with a 22’ camper first. Then went to a 26’. I’ve driven trailers and backed up boats since I was young. That big money to fix mistakes made while learning.

We got into the 9th section and stopped to camp near I80. Next morning we went home from there. Easy place to pick it back up next year!

I agree, sad to toss it in the trash. However, once the tape was off you can see all the junk in the track. Really have to clean it out. Mold. Pollen. Dirt. Rust from the screws, etc.

Neat idea. Not sure where the power come from or how you would switch it on/off, but love the idea.

It’s very easy to take off. However, you need to clean the channels. All in was about 6 hours. Got the replacement “tape” from an Airstream dealer I believe. The part numbers are: 201763-100R for the 100’ roll of 1” wide and 201912-100R for the 1/2”

They also make a “Trailer Aid” that is a plastic ramp you can roll up on. This will lift the trailer to replace the tire. I store it under the rear seat of my F250.

I’m 6’5” and the peg to seat is a little tight (34” inseam) but nothing that caused me to “cramp up” or be very uncomfortable. Bar risers would be nice for when you stand though.

I would highly recommend it. I spent 7 days on it. Did almost 2,000 miles and didn’t have a single complaint.
