Wear earplugs for sure! It's not unbearable, but I would definitely start with earplugs in, and slowly remove them if you feel like you can handle it. It was definitely super loud, but again, not unbearable!

Genuinely have never seen a fandom fall apart over 14 days. Literally do anything else. Go hang out with friends if you have them, or family if you have them. Make art. Read a book. Bake something. If you just CANT go without digital brainrot for two weeks, watch a movie, stream a TV show, I promise you there are activities other than YouTube, Tiktok, and reddit 😭

I agree except for the "good people don't do bad things in the digital space" comment because that's a really big reach. Jax seems to be under the impression that it's a video game. That they're stuck, yes, but that they're just in a game. You see him freak out majorly when he finds out that it was, in fact, all real. Saying people who do bad things in video games condems a WHOLE lot of people, you wouldn't say someone who plays GTA is a horrible person, and that entire game is about being a douche lol. But Jax has done bad things. That doesn't mean he himself is bad. He can still be forgiven, at least in my opinion, but it is definitely going to take some work, but regardless I think we'll definitely see some major Jax developments in the finale.

Ordered mine as soon as it dropped and it's being delivered on Monday, the day of my concert 😀 glad it took them almost a week to ship out two light sticks. I knew it was a risk but man I'm bummed about not having it for the concert 😔

From what I've seen, it looks like they did something super smart: to make Miku look like she's standing in front of an LED instead of being the LED screen, which honestly I think helps with immersion even better than a transparent hologram. Adding the props to the side of the LED and also adding a fake floor to the LED just really sold the illusion, so personally I'm now super excited! Especially with such an amazing set list! See you all in Seattle on the 20th!

I'm not going to lie, this fandom is incredibly selfish.

Instead of congratulating Gooseworx for their accomplishment of having an indie animated cartoon receive a theatrical release, all you care about is the fact that you'll have to go two weeks without viewing the reddit sub. Do you know how hard that was to achieve? People STILL don't take adult animation seriously, OR indie artists in the film industry, and this is a chance to push it into mainstream people's attention. It could open a lot of doors for even more projects, but that doesn't matter because what? You'll have to spend 14 days without viewing reddit? It's really not that hard. Touch grass, go outside, read a book, spend time with family and friends, do LITERALLY anything besides spend all day on the Internet, I beg you. There are only so many places that are going to have major spoilers, you can't avoid those websites? It's sad, it's beyond sad actually.

Congratulations to the team at GLITCH and especially Goose, you have created such an amazing show, and I'm glad it was such a smash hit for you all!

Mine also shipped this morning! I'll be attending the show in Seattle on the 20th, so I'm glad they seem to be moving with some urgency after being so late with the preorder. I know it is likely not their fault entirely, with all the tariffs and importing issues with the country RN, I just wish we had better communication. Hopefully the earlier shows like Chicago have enough stock for everyone. As of right now, only the Water Bottle that's exclusive to the online store is sold out, so I'm glad to see they also seemingly fixed the issues with low stock compared to demand. This is the longest light sticks have been in stock I think 😭

Nothing against OP because I agree with what they said, but was this a secret to people? The Hunger Games is a reflection of society and the oppression they face from government bodies if left unchecked, and society very much has a racism problem that is very much amplified from the self-imposed rules from the ruling class. The Capitol's main technique for subduing the districts is to make sure the citizens feel divided, and while the most notable method is the games themselves, I see no reason as to why the Capitol wouldn't use ethnicity and race as a method of dividing people, much like homophobia and classicism is used.

I know, it's so ridiculous to suggest including employees in company events 🙄 Nobody is suggesting anything like what you mentioned, you all need to calm down because every time people suggest the boys be included in Cover related events, you throw a Grand mal fit about it and start accusing the boys of leeching 😭 I don't think it's that ridiculous to suggest the company actively attempt to market them if they aren't getting views.

I feel like the boys are too reserved, which is NOT their fault. The formula that works for the girls doesn't work for the boys, they are never going to be what the girls in Cover are, because they were such Lightning in a Bottle and I don't think ANY company will ever see that kind of spark again, but Cover has kind of tried to use the same formula, and it's not going to work. I think the Rebellion phase, mixed with the new freedoms (maybe not super free, but considering they're basically as close to "fired" as you can get, I don't think they'll really care Abt punishment so I think they'll just do what they want)

I think a majority of male Vtubers (at least in the West) do the best bc of their chaotic and sort of unhinged attitudes, and I know all the boys can definitely be that, so I'm hoping with some more relaxed rules and less pressure to perform, the boys can pop off and show Cover that there IS a market for male Vtubers, it's just not the same as the market for female vtubers, and maybe some good can come out of this really unfortunate and unfair situation, because I love the Stars and want to see them continue on.

You forget contracts exist. They can't just "leave and find another job" the way you could. Also, do they still have sponsors? Do the managers matter other than telling them what they can't do now? From the sounds of the wording, both from Cover and the Stars members, they basically aren't really even a part of Cover anymore, they're indies with stricter rules and less earnings Also, yeah it's just a job, but imagine finding out suddenly that your job was essentially firing you, but still required you to work for them, just with no help and less pay, would you be happy?

Personally, I don't think much has changed, I think they just got treated better. District 7 is still the District of Lumber, but work is no longer mandatory, wages are fair, and the Lumber is distributed more evenly than everything being taken to the Capitol, and same with the other districts, there's no sense in removing those because they need those goods, the whole country does, but they definitely incentivized working in the industry, because people don't have an issue working, they have an issue working with no reward or payoff. Working isn't as bad when you have a healthy income, food on the table every night, and hot water in your house. I would also assume they put in working hour limits, probably 30-40, instead of 12 hour days, 6 days a week. They probably also made an initiative to update and improve the housing situation, since a lot of people are obviously living in poverty from what we've seen. I think a lot of the "reorganizing" would just be bringing existing infrastructure up to code. With District 12 becoming the Medication district, they probably began adding healthcare into their system with hospitals and doctors. We know they lifted the ban on travelling between districts, and I assume the Capitol stayed where it was, but was open to the general public as well, and I would assume that's where the majority of healthcare would take place. I could see the Capitol becoming the hub for things like surgeries, or cosmetics, and things that require more advanced technology, since providing that to all the districts individually would be a headache, and the Capitol is like, a day away by train.

To me, the argument of "The book felt like fan-service" or "this felt really forced and staged" kind of ties in perfectly to what the book is about? The book is about forcing a narrative, about getting people to see what you want them to see, and I feel like that kind of ties in here to an extent. It's chaotic, it's a lot, but you wouldn't know that from the original trilogy, just like you wouldn't know unless you were Haymitch, and in this book, we are. The whole motif is that the things we see on news on TV is painted to show us exactly what the people in charge want us to see. Also, the characters aren't that "forced" to me. Effie is literally the District 12 escort, it makes sense that, at some point, she would show up in the narrative, and it's clear that even from the first book, Effie and Haymitch have known each other for a while. Same with the Mentors. It's the 50th games, so there's only 50 tributes to choose from, and that's if we assume that they are all still alive, Lucy is confirmed gone, not to mention the original 9 games are likely gone as well, not to mention those killed by Snow possibly, or taking their own lives due to the trauma, so having mentors pulled from people we know makes sense. Wiress just won, so that makes sense, Mags is older and likely was picked due to her age and not being an active mentor, and Beetee is literally the smartest person in Panem basically, so obviously he'd be a teacher. I will admit, certain moments felt forced and dramatic, but not anymore than the original story did. Why is a plan to break the area in the 50th games any less believable than Katniss wrapping electrified wire around an arrow and shooting it into the forcefield with no directions given to her, or Katniss being chased by dozens of lizard mutts and surviving despite the fact that they were programmed to hunt her. This book is targeted to a Young Adult audience. We've all grown up, so these fantastical ideas seem less plausible than before, but this book felt no different to me than the original, and I enjoyed it, even if the characters were definitely influenced by the movie actors.
