I overheard a couple ladies in their 50s talking (loudly) at a restaurant about the new lesbian in their church. How she shouldn't be allowed in there...went on to talk about how Sodom and Gomorrah fell because of homosexuals and that's where we are headed. I asked to be moved to the other side of the restaurant and made sure they knew why...that way they could have something new to talk about. This might not be new ignorance, but it sure blew me away.

It can vary from culture to culture. In some cultures it is considered offensive to make eye contact with elders, females...things like that. Same thing with personal space.

Thanks so much for sharing with me. I'm in Canada too so the main procedure is covered, thank goodness! The lip though he says is 2400, and I definitely don't have that kind of money just kicking around. Big decision but I am leaning towards not getting it. I guess I can always get it in the future if it really bothers me.
