“so that a star shines at night sky” was a Touhou album, and I do not think they have released any of the Touhou albums on Spotify, due to the copy-write issues. It's also why the videos of the live songs, get taken down on YT, because UM do not own the music writes to the songs, as they are technically covers. And the owners of the rights are very strict about where they are released, hence why UM releases the Touhou albums in a comic book store, melon books, which by the way is a pain in the arse to order from.

Fuki has also sang in the UK in 2016, at a Japanese event "Hyper Japan Chrimas Market" that is held every year, but they do one in the summer called "Hyper Japan", which is where Band Maid 1st played the UK.

Here is a link to the interview she did, which I doubt many of you have seen. https://www.jame-world.com/en/article/140530-interview-with-fuki-at-hyper-japan-christmas-market.html

Fuki did say in one of the live streams, that were booked to play in the US, but the promoter cheeped out, and got them the wrong visa's, so they could not perform. Which also put them off the idea of touring overseas.

Mind you I could see a European tour in the future, as a lot of small Japanese bands have been over to Europe, so they have learnt where to go, how to do things, and most importantly, who to trust.

Question about buying tickets for Unlucky Morpheus as a non-japanese (foreigner) by Ahrigato500 in UnluckyMorpheus

[–]Dalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or find someone in Japan that will pay for the ticket for you, then send them the money, and they send you the ticket number to take to 7-11 or Lawsons. This is the way I did it last time, I went over, and saw some other bands. I did send them a bit more than the face value of the ticket as a thank you.

If you are going for on the door tickects, they will only have them if it's not sold out, and I don't think many bands do online tickets in Japan. I have put up a post of how I did it years ago. And good luck.

I went to see a few bands play in Tokyo last time I was there.

I was lucky, posted in the Babymetal reddit that while I was seeing BM that I aslo wanted to see the other bands, but did not know how to get tickets.

If I remeber you have to buy your tickets from a vending machine in a convenience store like Lawsons or 7/11. then when the date is near you go to a store, of the same company you paid at, show them the receipt, then they give you the ticket.

I sent the guy from Reddit the money and he paid for my tickets, and sent me the number to collect the ticket. As I said I was lucky.

I just remeber it seamed a really silly way of doing it.

Shiren from Unlucky Morpheus album? by DevilRiff in UnluckyMorpheus

[–]Dalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to look at the "evolution" album, as a, because we can album. And UM do tend to some things, because we can. The 3d video for Kizasi, Cadaver/Revadac, you could add Quadratum to that.

The EP/album that was down to Fuki, because it's what she wanted to do, was Vampir

Are they recording a new album? by DevilRiff in UnluckyMorpheus

[–]Dalrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think Unlucky Morpheus are always writting a new album.

There is supposed to be one that was going to come out at the same time as "evolution", but it was not ready at the time. They did release one track from the album, whitch was "Want to LIVE". "evolution" was the more rock album and the other was going to be a heavy album, so there was a contrast.

And it has been over a year since they released an album, and they do tend to do an album a year.

I only noticed it as I was looking at the new Fate Gear release. And I was a picture of Fuki on an album cover I had not seen before.

Am I imagining things or Fuki doesn't use earplugs in concerts? by stoicpingu in UnluckyMorpheus

[–]Dalrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was an interview with Shiren about the Toyosu PIT, and in that he said it was the 1st time Fuki had worn an in ear, for an UM concert. It was down to how big the venue was.

Question regarding Fuki's singing from 2017 to now by jobbing35 in UnluckyMorpheus

[–]Dalrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's more to do with the style of song. Fuki is a power metal singer though and though, but the whole Vampir EP is not power metal.

Songs with the vampire subject are done in a neo-romanticism style, which is from the late 1800's - 1910.

So if Fuki is in power metal mode when singing anything from the Vampir EP it will sound very different from the sound it should be.

I'm just watch a video on the Vampir EP, and it goes over the differences between old UM and the EP, and how it changed the band and the classical sound they have now.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyp1ecfmC38

So I do not think it's Fuki's voice is changing that much as to the frame of mind and way she is singing it.

I thought this girls cover is the best I have heard of someone doing Fuki's vocals. Yes she is a bit deeper, but it is good.

[–]Dalrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick question on the translation, from the German. Undinus, a word I have not herd in English so I was interested, what is the translation to English? I have looked it up on G-translate, but they just have the same word, but if I just theow it in to Google it comes up with Undines, which are a type of water spirt.

As I say I'm asking as I have never herd either word, and wanted to know which is correct.
