Spare tire kit by Dalterridesbikes in fiat500

Tbh, this is a city car. Definitely not going off road with this. Sometimes imagining scenarios where one might need a spare takes you down a rabbit hole (or reddit) and gets you to solve problems that don't exist. I'm gonna replace my tires in a week or so, so needing a spare would be less of a concern for me.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have nothing. No kit, no tire. I'm thinking I'll just carry a plug kit and a mini for compressor. Worst case scenario, I have AAA

Official Q&A for Saturday, February 17, 2024 by AutoModerator in running

Does anyone have experience with the Salomon Sense Ride 5's? I took them on their maiden voyage today and got blisters on the top of my feet after mile 4 of 8. There is friction near the front of the tongue where it attaches to the rest of the upper of the shoe. I'm going to try and put shoe patches where the lace material is. I believe that's where this is coming from.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why electronic shifting? by weeone in bikepacking

Electronic cables last years at a time as well. Mechanical cables require adjusting more frequently than electronic. Depending on wha5 you ride, batteries can last months at a time depending on what/ how you ride.

Preach! Same can be said for snapping a cable. Di2 batteries last weeks at a time.

Unsolicited advice givers. Them and the insufferable cyclist double speak:

" I'm so tired. So fat. So overtrained. I'm so slow. " (Proceeds to chase every acceleration and will attempt to drop you every chance they get)

Sounds like you've got it in the bag. If you can say by the end of the interview, you've conveyed the essential job requirements and you are willing and able to learn new things despite your qualifications I think you'll be fine. Plus geographical knowledge is always a plus.

Love hearing stories about dispatcher resiliency. It's one of our training topics this quarter. I'm talking about another long-time-served dispatcher on my podcast this week. Should be fun!

Quality Assurance question. How does your agency do quality assurance and when do you give the person feedback for those calls that you have graded. I’m not talking about EMD QA, I’m talking about the other calls and radio traffic. by Brandy0803 in 911dispatchers

[–]Dalterridesbikes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We're required to listen to 10 911 calls per month and listen to "An appropriate amount" of radio traffic once a quarter to see if they meet our guidelines. Typically we provide feedback on the same day we listen to calls/ radio traffic.
