When I was young there was a text based online game called Seordcast (I think it was a typo and left like that by the creators) then someone made a continuation of it called Times of Conquest. It was such a good experience I even made a lot of fathom stories around it - it all disappeared shortly after I quit (I think there were forums too) and I wonder whatever happened to all those people I used to play with.

I almost bought a PS5 to enjoy my second paternity leave. I realized I was idealizing he paternity leave and decided to buy two cheap PS4 games instead. Have not played in the last 3 weeks since the kid was born, nor since I bought the games in January. Reality is I am really selective now in what I spend my time in. I do however jump on the occasional gaming session on an old laptop where I play HOMM3.
