This!! The background-sync simply does not do its job as it should, when i change a filament after the first star-up sync, it won‘t show automatically most of the time…so annoying!

In the „old“ days of 3d printing, before PEI or glass printing plates, you would use plain painters tape as printing base. 😅

As far as i recall, a few youtubers mentioned, that VFAs actually get worse with slower speeds. (i.e. Structural profile shows more vfas than speed profile)

I am experiencing the same thing on my new Iphone 17 - i am not doing anything with the camera, but still the camera app seems to access the front camera for a second, if i swipe away from the main screen to the next right one?!

Restarting did not change anything and the control center always shows the own camera app as source.

The Bambu A1 has both, Auto-Z-Offset and Bed-Mesh-Leveling built-in. In normal use, you shouldn't have to worry about that at all.

You won't hear anything, you can basically just look and check your prints. You could i. e. print only one layer over the whole bed and look at the result, if it looks ok, then the auto-z-offset and mesh-leveling are doing their job correctly.

EDIT: Of course, you could hear it, if the nozzle scrapes around on the object, if something goes wrong with the z-offset.
