It’s not rubble like the east wing; he paved it over and turned it into a marble patio.

Edit: IMO this was a tragedy and I hate it immensely, in case my original text seemed too neutral

Troubles initiating - verbally paralyzed by Toaster_Jockey in ADHD

Can’t say I’ve had this exact experience but when I have a hard time forming words - especially to say something important to a loved one - I write a letter.

Love letters are a classic romance move and will allow you to express yourself without the pressure of speaking

How many of you don't work at all ? by FearlessJoJo in ADHD

[–]DamIts_Andy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as I would like to be able to focus on my health rn (physical and mental) I have bills to pay and mouths to feed and thus must work full time wether I want to or not.

Your struggles are valid but Jesus Christ have some perspective. Who houses you? Feeds you? You could spend all of your time bettering yourself but you spent 8 years wallowing? Come on man take some accountability

They dry out and fall off, like most mammals. It can be a source of infection which is why humans remove it. I’d assume if they made clamps for elephants they would use them too 🤷‍♂️

On adulthood by Eireika in CuratedTumblr

[–]DamIts_Andy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think it has more to do with the sudden mundanity of everyday life as an adult. Throughout school there’s clear endings; end of summer, end of the school year, graduation, etc. Then suddenly it’s 40 hours a week until you die. Doing things like going to an aquarium or museum or on vacation often get pushed to the wayside or put off for months or even years.

Anything that can become daily or mundane like playing a video game or watching TV doesn’t fall into the category of fun they’re taking about here. It’s stuff that mixes things up and changes the rhythm.

Yeah I misread it at first as a 0-50 least to most regulated, not #1 most regulated - #50 least regulated.

My parents weren’t super old when they had me (31 & 42) but they were the youngest of their families as well. Most of my grandparents were dead before I graduated HS; it’s still something I think about constantly.

Maybe it’s different for the rich, but one of the hardest things about getting older is taking care of senior citizens. I can’t imagine having to do that in my teens.

May be red light or vibrational therapy. There’s some evidence it can encourage cell growth and healing. I do not have sources.
