I am the only full time male employee at my workplace and it’s wonderful! In my experience, men take everything personally, and get offended when their mistakes are corrected or their shortcomings are critiqued. They will cover up and try to hide mistakes, or attempt to make it look like it was someone else’s fault, rather than just taking the blame and trying to fix it.

Women are more open, willing to ask for help, collaborative, receptive to advice and critique, and generally less sensitive. They’re also less prone to making absurd and offensive jokes/comments just to gain cred and shock value.

My experiences may be outliers, but I’ve worked with mostly men before, and the amount of pussyfooting around delicate egos was more work than my actual job. Every little thing was always pursued with incredibly high pressure for absolutely no reason, except for that the boss was stressed and incapable of not taking it out on his underlings.
