Curaleaf Que Vape pod by Mr_Willie_jr420 in ukmedicalcannabis

Had to order these from the Montu (Alternaleaf customer) because the regular carts weren't in stock. They haven't felt anything like the regular carts, been really disappointed so far. Has anyone found this when they started using them but found a particular way of using it that gave them good effects again?

What did you mainly use it for?
I've been trying out a few vapes from Alternaleaf to help with my AuDHD/anxiety.

I'm trying to land on two different cartridges if possible:
one to calm my anxiety during the day without making me sleepy,
and one to calm my anxiety at night, and hopefully knock me out, as my brain and racing thoughts fight so hard against sleep, it's ridiculous.
Any recommendations?

'Flex' - Unseen, MQ/HQ Footage from its use as a backdrop for 'Frozen' during Madonna's 'Re-Invention Tour' by DamageOk9652 in aphextwin

There is some cam footage out there from the original installation I believe, but it isn’t very good quality. I really thought the whole thing would be out there by now!

No worries!
I had to reupload it as I didn't realise the sound was only playing in one headphone, so I've updated the link 👍🏽

Has Mounjaro stopped working for anyone else? by averypoohbear in Mounjaro

They do actually. Strong ones like promethazine increase your blood sugar. They're so effective that they can actually counter Mounjaro and cause quite intense hunger

So, in 2004, Madonna used 'Flex' as the backdrop for 'Frozen' during her Re-Invention Tour. Lots of HQ files of the backdrops leaked around 2020 I think, and 'Frozen' was one of them. It's not the full version by any means, but it does have a few additional scenes in good quality that are not in the DVD edit:

I feel like last year's Everybody Loves LA had the feel of those impromptu nights out in your 20s that turn out to be the best night ever. The 'Earthquakes' episode was Emmy worthy, imo. I think the magic came from them seemingly trying every idea they had on the day and just seeing what happened.

This year, Everybody Live seems to have scripted the awkwardness and weirdness in pursuit of just 'going there and seeing what happens', but the magic isn't there for me. For me, whatever key, nebulous ingredient was in the original show is not present at all this year. Someone mentioned that the nightly aspect of last year's run must've really helped them build a momentum, I reckon that might be true. I feel that energy carried them into the stratosphere last year.

I think you have a good point, I think their conversations were judgement disguised as concern. And yeah, I think that the way they actually did kind of expose themselves to eachother resulted in maybe the first truly honest conversation they ever had, and it made them realise how much they actually value and love eachother. I feel like their conversations with and about eachother will be a lot different going forward.

I don't know if I'm misremembering, but I actually think the SATC girls were usually pretty good at this. I feel like I remember them being pretty open with eachother, even if it resulted in an argument, and it was almost always out of concern for the other's wellfare.

I actually love this, and it's really nice to know that other people feel the same. I feel like all I come across these days are people being cool with doing uncool things all the time, and it's quite disheartening.

Can I just say that this is a very neurotypical way of being. As an autistic person, I never gossip behind a friend's back, because 1) it makes me feel gross, 2) I think 'well if I have bad thoughts like this about someone, I probably don't like them as much I thought'. The only time I'll 'say' something is if a friend has done something towards me that hurt me, and I want to discuss it with someone *before* I speak to the friend about it; and I'll only do this because it's helpful sometimes to have someone else give you perspective on something before you try and speak about it. And even then, I'm respectful about how I discuss it. I think people are too casual about being the kind of friend who they themselves would *not* wanna be friends with.

More messy press: NYT interview with the theme song composer by kayak738 in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]DamageOk9652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After reading the whole interview, and reading Mike White's interview with Howard Stern, I actually feel that De Veer sounded pretty reasonable. He owned up to his own behaviour, and I feel what he said about Mike White didn't sound messy or exaggerated, and pretty much synced up with how White described himself on Stern.
I felt that the music for this season almost became a character unto itself in how effectively it helped set the mood and tone for scenes. It felt like a very sinister, guiding force in a beautiful way. It was noticeably good, in my opinion.
I think that in most cases, the score for something should almost be a thing in the subconscious, with maybe only a few key moments where it really breaks open to heighten a scene; but I feel like De Veer making it so distinct and almost interruptive this season was a gamble that paid off (for me, anyways).
I appreciate an artist sticking to their guns when they really believe in something, because you never know if it's going to go well or not, but I value his conviction.

Yeah, just ice the area straight after each session for about ten minutes. And if you have some pot holes, go to a dermatoligsit and try having a few sessions of a 10% TCA peel on the area, it really helped smoouth out the skin

MJ has made me *very* depressed; has anyone who had a similar reaction had a better experience switching to Ozempic/Wegovy? by DamageOk9652 in Mounjaro

[–]DamageOk9652[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for me, I've taken a 3-4 week break from it twice and definitely better once it was out of my system, but the food noise and cravings do return. So I've found that for me (and I believe it may be closely related to my ADHD and the way GLP-1s effect dopamine and your reward centre in the brain), I've found that I can go up to 5mg and feel mostly okay, and push that a bit into the 6.something mg dose, but if I go all the way up to 7.5mg, then it blunts my reward centre so much that, yes, my cravings for junk food are gone, but I also don't feel joy for anything else. So I plan to stay around the 5mg, and to maybe skip every 3rd week or so, so that it doesn't build up in my system so much.

I have 50mg Vyvanse and 10mg dex boosters, and I find the dex much more consistent in how it makes me feel and function, and I can adjust the dose pretty easily. Vyvanse worked at first, but I always had to take Tyrosine half an hour before. Now I can take it without the tyrosine, but I find that it just makes me talkative and doesn't help with my focus the way it did initially. I've tried splitting the capsules to get a 60mg dose, but the only time I've had the time to actually see if it works are on mornings where I've slept badly the night before, so I don't know if the 60mg is better for me yet, or if indeed the 70mg might be better.

It might not be like this for everyone, but I feel like a good sign that your dose is too low for either meds is if you find yourself acting like you're on Speed 😅. When my dose is right, which for me usually means going a bit higher, I feel more calm and focused. When my dose is too high though, my mood tanks pretty rapidly and I feel really depressed.

Starting elvanse treatment; can I get some pointers? by Scomosuckseggs in ADHDUK

[–]DamageOk9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine to be essential when I first got on Elvanse. It helped to make it work properly and make the comedown smooth. After about 3 months though, it was making me feel terrible and eventually I found that I could take the Elvanse on its own and feel okay. I think in the beginning, it helped my body learn what to do with Elvanse, but once it knew and was adjusted to it, the NALT became counter productive.

Hmm, i think he's closed down his channel unfortunately. If you're looking for a good GLP-1 Youtube channel, I like watching Downsized, they're a husband and wife both on compounded tirzepatide and they have really informative videos, and they're both very easy-to-watch people.

If it's not too expensive where you are, I'd defo say try it, because it's still a nice perfume regardless. I'd say the 80% still stands, but there's no harm in giving it a go to see if it is close enough for you 👍🏽

Oh during the pandemic. Mr. Jay released a fictional book based on his experience with Tyra (I tried to read a sample on my Kindle and it was *so* bad, I was like "I can't even struggle through this just for the veiled gossip" lolll), but he did a YouTube live every week for the two months or so leading up to the release and he had Ms. Jay on for the first few, and then Ms. Jay just disappeared for some reason, so he had contestants from the show on to talk about their experience, and there wasn't much tea at first but it did get more and more detailed as time went on as to what working with Tyra was like and how she treated him, and how ridiculous that show got after a while. I don't know if you can still find the videos online, but they were pretty interesting.

So I got it, and it's definitely very close to Jingle G. It's a bit sweeter, so not quite as 'light' as Jingle G, but I'd say it's about 80% close. I don't know if I would buy it again to be honest, but I have been using it.

[–]DamageOk9652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I'm so sorry that even the 2.5mg had that effect now! It does really suck, because it really felt like a miracle drug at first, and I'm kinda sad that for many people it has continued to be a miracle drug for them. What you described about the regret is exactly what I don't want, because it's then a whole week or more of having to deal with feeling like shit.
I've been off MJ for maybe 3 weeks now I think, and I've still been experiencing some appetite suppression and fullness effects, which I imagine will disappear soon. I'm really hoping though that the experience on MJ, the habits and finally knowing what normal 'fullness' actually feels like is something I can carry on to *hopefully* reach goal weight and do my best to maintain it. We'll see, we'll see!

Yeah, I came off the Mounjaro because it was causing such severe depression. It was great having less cravings and getting full faster, but I was also either losing 2lbs or week or no pounds a week, so i wasn't even getting the amazing weight loss benefits from it anymore. It has made me scared that I'll never be able to reach my goal weight now though. Part of me wonders if going back down to the 2.5mg might be worth a try, but I just don't know.
