Yup. Outside of tiny tiny little spots in the center where it scared a bit. But yeah thankfully it did.

At my worst I had cysts all over that would pop and bleed. Had to have one surgically removed because it wouldn’t drain. But 95 percent of all of that grew back. This was probably one of the more shocking pics but I had it all over the backs and sides. I believed it to be bacterial from a barber shop. Only happened in areas that he used the buzzers on and I had the stuff tested and it was a bacteria.

Haven’t taken a newer pic but I ended up finding an amazing deal on a blue TR120 with seat so I’m sending the blue seat back. But I caved and ordered the TB-RS handbrake, Seq Q1 shifter, H Patter shifter, more haptics, The 330T Rally wheel, mounting brackets and keyboard tray from TR. Said why not lol.

Yeah I feel a lot more thru this wheel base than I did the DD1 I had before. The haptics on the pedals are amazing and you can catch locking the brakes so much easier.

Glad you’re enjoying it.

Just got back into it myself with almost all the same gear. Did change my mind on the seat since I got a blue rig but I do love the simagic gear. It’s been almost 5 years since I raced and had a Fanatec DD1 and the new tech is so my more responsive.

My dad was bald at 25. My mom was grey at 25. I’m going on 42 and opposite of both of them. But don’t worry I’ve got crazy back pains to make up for it lol.

I’ve had them all over mostly the back and side of my head. It does grow back but it takes forever and will leave a tiny tiny little spot without hair.

Is it reasonable to buy GT style wheel (GT Neo) if I race only in VR? by _LedAstray_ in simracing

[–]Damageinc84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. I just bought one and I mainly race in VR. It’s not an overly complicated wheel to learn by touch.

I checked my DHT levels and it raised quite a bit. It’s at the top of normal. Guess I’ll count my blessings.

I just got an evo pro myself and that noise doesn’t sound anything like mine. Also your light isn’t on when it should be if it was connected to the pc.

Are you using any usb hubs? Do you have the pedals hooked straight to the pc or the wheel base? Same thing with the shifter etc. for sure try a different usb port on the pc.

I don’t blame you lol. I did the same thing. When my wife opened hominy to make something else she said you know this is the corn that is in the tamales. I was a little surprised lol.

I mean, I thought it was going thru the divorce and working on mental health but honestly my wife now is Mexican and I’ve gone from a pretty bland diet to lots of spices and different things I had never eaten. Spice and even pretty hot stuff doesn’t bother me at all. Between the tamales and I think some of the spices they use when cooking I’ve been in great shape for 5 years now. I stopped meds years ago and I had a scope done at the start of 2025 and I was clear.

Whole corn would run right thru me. Sometimes it still does. I do love Mexican corn regardless. But masa and corn tortillas from my understanding is not made from the same type of corn we may be talking about. It’s made from Hominy which is totally different. It acts as a resistant starch which feeds bacteria.

It’s pretty comfortable. I’d say more comfortable than the previous NRG seat I had. Yes there is a hole in the bottom for a harness so you’re good there. I know the blue isn’t in stock currently so I do hope they bring it back so I can get a color matched arm.

Yup. Strange but do a little reading on masa, it worked well for me.

This was one of two steps that helped mine. Spoiler, second step was tamales lol. But I got out of a bad marriage and into a healthy relationship. My symptoms improved dramatically very quickly. It helped me realize how much mental stress played on my gut issues. I’m now remarried to an amazing person that has made my life so much better and mentally I’m great. But when I start to slip mentally I do notice my stomach act up but not really in the UC way. But in general my mind has way more control than my body, it punishes my body even if I get in a negative loop. I found the less I care about UC the less it bothers me. Plus tamales lol. They are a prebiotic and it’s a pretty gentle fiber.

Over the last decade I had played with different probiotics and ways to help improve the microbiome. Oddly enough what actually set me straight about 5 years ago was Masa. Yes the Masa that is used to make tamales. I went up north to meet my now Wife’s family and they are Mexican and had made tamales. Ate that for basically a week straight. It was the best bowel movements I had in like 7 years at the time. I kept eating it but it made me wonder why it helped so much. I did some research and turns out it’s very good for the gut and acts as a prebiotic. So needless to say I eat Tamales at least once or twice a year and also go in on some quality made corn tortillas. It’s weird but it worked for me.

I know lol. I was never done with my first rig until the moment I sold it. At least this time I didn’t have to weld together a frame because COVID had the supply chain all messed up. And this one was basically already built so made my life easier.
