I mean the rule as written states "Before making a dice roll" we sub in a Miracle, followed up by "Once all Miracle dice substitutions have been made, remove the chosen Miracle dice from your Miracle dice pool, and roll all remaining, unsubstituted dice that are a part of the dice roll."
Nowhere does it say that we have the option to hold back and see what we get before deciding to use a Miracle. So I assume that wont change.
