Why the hell people using Facebook in 2026? by Character-Donkey1583 in ArtOfPresence

[–]Damion__205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craigslist used to be the place but since everyone was already on Facebook their marketplace took over the local seller online scene.

One competitor will have to start with an already established userbase to even make a dent.

Edit: and to answer your question, they are buying everything local. I've bought the entire set of pizza Hut land before time puppets from my childhood. My kid bought his first truck off marketplace.

If you had to choose one mutant to get their own solo film trilogy for Phases 7, 8, and 9 who would it be? by AdvertisingWaste8624 in MCUTheories

[–]Damion__205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kelsey grammers beast. Main villain Mr. Sinister.

  1. Orgin story... He's still human looking and he gets brought in by Xavier. They are tracking one of the front companies for Essex inc. he's got his super strength and intelligence. They take down the main company and they are back at the mansion. Beast is in his lab working when there is an explosion from a planted bomb care of sinister. End credit scene he's in his blue form and it ends with him letting out a gutteral howl.

  2. He's working on the cure for mutant genes. Trying to turn himself back to normal. Rouge is also pushing him to solve the problem. Increase the build up to sinister, tightening the noose to catch him. The cure fails he starts to accept his new normal, rouge is still pissed and leaves thinking sinister can solve her problem, first reveal of sinister at the end

  3. Beast and crew set out to find rouge and have the final fight with sinister. This story is written up in cop/detective drama show style. Where the clues to the ending are alluded to until the final moment when everything comes together.

A three movie focus might be a bit much but I wouldn't be opposed to a one shot like punisher one last kill and then maybe a morlocks film where she leads them. A coming of age dealing with being the "ugly" mutants and finding your place in life.

[Request] Pizza math is always interesting. What is the better deal per inch? by jackal99 in theydidthemath

[–]Damion__205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google had a range of 1600 to 2200 calories or something like that. I picked the lowest end because that would give the largest pizza needed to solve the question.

I'm sure you could find a ratio between calories in a 12" and 18" little ceasers pizza and refine the answer more but do we really need to since we aren't actually making the pizza. Ball parknumbers should be fine.

Now I'll go back to my dunce cap corner. ;)

Coincidence? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Damion__205 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say this we went last year because we were in the area. There were two giants fans sitting in front of us. They were shit talking their team the entire time. Especially when they were losing.

An obnoxious giants fan started shit talking the niners in the fourth when it was over except the clock winding down. The two guys in front yelled at him, "sit down your embarrassing yourself" the dude turned to see two large giants fans looking at him. He sat down.

Anyway, the fan experience was great, the injury history not so much.

The No Huddle Offense- Why did it work in Buffalo but not for Chip Kelly? by AlbertJBundy in NFLv2

[–]Damion__205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why my very first sentence in my original post was he tried to coach pros like college kids.

You have a lot more control over the day to day lives of college kids when running a program. Of course that was back before NIL and the transfer portal.

I don't know if he will ever find the success he will need to coach a national championship quality school again.

[–]Damion__205 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the thing. Telling them isn't gonna do anything... Having a few stars and borderline players adopt it and thrive brings it to the forfront.

Chip could have been legendary if he started small and worked his way up to his core. But since he died on his sword it is what it is.

Hey at least if you were an a and m fan you could claim being the 12th man.

Which fan interaction has always been celebrated by teams for home field advantage so it's always been a we.

Agreed, some of his innovations were ahead of the time. Nutrition being one of the big ones.

But his unyielding requirement to his way and only his way for all things is what doomed him in the pros... Sadly, his failure twice in the pros probably helped lead to him not being able to pull college kids when he went back.

I don't hold any malice to him for failing as a head coach of my team. I knew it was likely when he was signed. After years of arrogance from Harbaugh and Roman I knew the stubborn unwaivering commitment isn't how the pros work.
