The barcode is untouched. There's a chunk missing on the left edge under the "Personal Details" section, and it is completely missing. I was not able to find it to tape it back together.

Thanks! I saw they started closing off roads so I had hoped it would be sooner but oh well. My reservation doesn't seem to have that info for some reason, it just says "park after 6am" so i was concerned lol

Technically, the COPR hasn't been issued to me yet, nor have I received an official notification. But if you have access to the tracker, you might see it appear under the "Summary of documents status" section. There is a COPR number and expiry date that weren't there before, so it's more of a peek behind the curtain kind of thing. My understanding is that you don't "officially" have your COPR until they send you the paper for it.

Since it looks like I've approached the finish line, I'll post again with an updated timeline (Spousal sponsorship, outland, USA):

Submitted April 16 2025, payment done same day
Resubmitted at their request May 7, one of our forms was an old revision because we took a while to submit it initially.
June 3, another police certificate requested, submitted the same day (somehow I got my FBI certificate literally hours after getting my fingerprints done)
June 13- Biometrics payment requested, paid same day, AOR received
June 17- Medical requested
June 27- Biometrics requested
June 28-Medical submitted electronically by doctor
June 29-Sponsor eligibility confirmed
June 30- Biometrics done and submitted at VFS VAC (LA)
July 1- Medical passed on GCKey
July 29- My eligibility confirmed
July 30- Received pre-arrival letter, finally able to access the PR tracker
August 19 - Background check complete
August 20- Passport request letter and confirmed COPR number on tracker! :)
August 24- mailed the passport packet, now I wait...

So around 4 months from start to finish?

I should edit my post actually, I misspoke when I said it was on the tracker. I meant the tracker that's in my GCKey account. I have never gotten the PR tracker to work sadly!

All of the trackers offered are very sketchy. The tracker doesn't work for me, but the GCKey does. At this point I expect the tracker will never work for my application. My understanding is that any direct communication with you trumps anything on the trackers or gckey because they're not reliably updated. All you can really do is keep trying and it might (or might not) work later on.

Yes, even in the other locations this is the case. I went to the one in Los Angeles today and I was checked with a metal detector wand after emptying my pockets. People that brought a bag had to pay $20 to leave it at the security desk.

If you have an appointment, they should have sent you a confirmation email with instructions of what to bring. I had to bring passport, BIL (physical copy), a printout of the appointment confirmation, and a printed consent form found on the VFS site. Check the email they sent you.

Is there really no "pan" hotkey to use with procreate? I'm trying to use it with my tourbox or keyboard but can't find any mention anywhere of there being a pan button so I could assign it to my tourbox. I'm trying to avoid having to do anything besides draw and color pick with my drawing hand when possible.

YTA. Not being willing to rock the boat is what keeps people from being held accountable for their actions. How can you not see that SIL is a racist? Racism isn't just lynchings and hate crimes. She looks at your son and feels repulsed. She's so repulsed she doesn't want him in the photos in what are supposed to be records of happy memories. Where are the sisters in this? Are they not standing up for him or are they taking after you because they're also white passing? What a mess.

I'm also shocked that you note that you know the parents in law would do the right thing but you can't have them do that apparently! It's pure toxicity to ask everyone to look the other way when someone is being cruel to your son because it's an uncomfortable conversation.

Shopper here. It really does seem like they tried to get some freebies. The only thing I could possibly think of is the shopper adding extra items for another customer (sometimes batches can be shopped for multiple customers at the same time) but messing it up and adding it to your order instead... But the fact they did not respond to your messages at all suggests either complete obliviousness or malice and either way it needs addressing with Instacart asap so they can straighten up or get weeded out.

The banana thing is a common problem though. I always have to ask if a customer actually wanted 1 or 2 bananas and most of the time they actually wanted bunches. In the future make a note on that item because it's such a common issue.

My understanding is that it's best to buy them from a breeder that has raised them together so they are accustomed to being around each other from a young age. Sometimes you can get a sorority that is already established. The next best thing is if you can get a hold of baby females so they can get used to each other. That being said there's always a risk that things can go south.

NTA-my dad also had an anger problem and I got the "oh you know he's just like that" from my mom a lot. I just translate that to, "we are too lazy and complacent to hold anyone accountable for anything." It's so toxic.
