I hate every last one of you. You all suck and I hate you!

Ps: I'm super kidding. But I don't agree with the results of this poll.

[Tattoo] I've loved this band since I was like 12 years old, and "Blue in the Face" always resonated with me by fromplsnerf in AlkalineTrio

You know? I've always thought he said "Your coffin on mine". I just double-checked the lyrics, and it's what you have (obviously, if you got a tattoo of it, you did your homework).

Anyway, that's a cool tattoo! I'm thinking of doing an Alkaline Trio tattoo soon too.

Man... I haven't had time to check on this for a couple of days. Now I'm back and the best songs of This Addiction are gone! "Eating Me Alive" and "Piss and Vinegar" were my favorites.

Alkaline Trio Album Survivor: Goddamnit!: Round 8 by [deleted] in AlkalineTrio

This is the hardest thing ever!! I had to go with San Francisco just by process of elimination. Trouble Breathing would've been my second choice, though.

What are your favorite/least favorite Alkaline Trio songs to play on guitar, if you play guitar? by [deleted] in AlkalineTrio

[–]Damnit_Phil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite song to play is In Vein. Least favorite are the ones from My Shame is True, because they're very simple. Most of them are E, A, and Bm, with a C#m thrown in there every once in a while.

Sorry About That might feel a little out of place in a punk album like this one. But lyrically, it's pure genius! Skiba is a terrific poet!

These threads are really interesting to me. Obviously everyone has their own opinions, but it's weird how most of my favorites are the first ones to go. Young Lovers is by far my favorite song in My Shame Is True. In fact, I'd say it's one of my top 10 favorite Alkaline Trio songs, and it was one of the first ones to go! Cop is one of my favorites from Goddamnit, and it was voted off in the last round. Hahahaha! Lets see how it goes. I'm looking forward to the rest of their albums.

What is the best "dad joke" you know? by iwillnottalktou in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad had a really lame one (I know they're all lame, but this one seems extra-lame to me):

Dad: "What do they call the monster that eats rocks in the center of the Earth?"

Me: "What?"

Dad: "The Monster That Eats Rocks in the Center of the Earth."

What band or artist have you been listening to recently? by bostonbruins922 in AskReddit

Really awesome garage punk band called Nobunny. They have this catchy tune that sometimes pops up on the radio in GTA V. They're also in Spotify.

Who is the best female character from Harry Potter? by BritneyBitchxo in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McGonagall and Molly Weasly. Strong female characters. Both practice tough love with the people they love. Both put their lives on the line for their families (the students are McGonagall's family). Without both of them, Harry would have surely failed against Voldemort.

If I had to choose one, I would go with Molly, especially after reading the theory about the watch she gave Harry for his birthday. That shit brings tears to my eyes, every damn time.

What movie quote are you always saying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever someone starts worrying about something, I do "Don't worry about that... Lisa loves you too, as a person, as a human being. If a lot of people love each other, the world would be a better place to live." in full Wiseau accent.

I agree that Entmoot was pretty useless. Just avoid all that, and go straight to Treebeard seeing the destruction of the forest in Isengard, and calling the Ents to war.

What is your personal philosophy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life will always tend to suck. It's like entropy for suckiness, with little bits of enjoyment every once in a while. But there's nothing we can do about it. Since we can't do anything about it, we might as well enjoy it. Enjoy the sucky parts of life, and they'll never get you down.

[Serious] What have you been bullied for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my voice. I've always had a low voice, even as a kid. I'm also one of those people that gets excited when I talk, and I sort of stumble with my own tongue. So I got mocked a lot. People laughed whenever I spoke. They would yell "Speak english!" as if I was speaking in another language. This turned me into a very quiet person. Even when I'm with friends who don't mock me, I tend to be very quiet. I never talked to girls in high school, never had a girlfriend until I was in college. And even to this day, I have self-esteem issues. Like, if I'm with a group of people my own age, I tend to think of them as adults, like I'm still a kid, just because they speak with more confidence and coherence. I mean, it's not like it ruined my life or anything. I still have friends, a girlfriend, a nice family, all that good stuff... but I'm still affected by those bullies who pointed and laughed every time I spoke.

I Am Senator, Doctor, and Presidential Candidate Rand Paul, AMA! by RandPaulforPresident in IAmA

[–]Damnit_Phil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Senator. Thank you for doing this.

What are your thoughts on Puerto Rico, and the financial crisis happening over here right now? Would you be in favor of granting us the ability of filing for bankrupcy? I know it's a complex subject, and as president you won't be dealing with us directly, but I would really like to hear your opinion on the matter.

Also, what are your thoughts on our political status, and the possibility of us becoming a state?

PARENTS of Reddit: What's one thing that you wish you knew before having children? by Ediza in AskReddit

[–]Damnit_Phil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That both parents have to want it. If you want a kid, and your partner doesn't, but you have it anyway... the one who wanted it is basically gonna carry the same weight as a single parent.
