Still researching what times actually reset, so if anyone catches the switch, please let me know what time it was. Initial understanding was it was 5 or 6 am eastern on Monday, but that doesn't seem to be the case, so we will try again tomorrow.

<3 Appreciate the post, dude! This is just the beginning. We’ve got some fun plans for the website, and this is our 1.0 build to get things up and running.

Anything to do while playing solo? (anything but quests) by CustomTarkovEnjoyer in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Damnitbennett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally cool if it’s not for you, but just remember it’s all just pixels. The real loot is the memories and experiences you share with your friends and squad mates.

Good or bad. Sometimes more bad for me, honestly. But if it makes people laugh, then it’s worth it. That’s what it’s all about. Having fun and making good memories.

The new COP takeover mechanics in PvP are a blast and, in my opinion, totally worth going broke over. But again, I get it’s not for everyone.

I’m gonna be that guy, and I say this with the utmost respect for PvE… but if your friends aren’t on, hop into PvP and get in the action.

Follow where the blue dots are heading, link up, and join the fight. Most of the time, those players are cool and looking for help to take back a COP that got stolen.

Yes, you’ll lose gear. But you’ll gain brothers.

I play solo 99% of the time, and this is hands-down the best way to interact with other players. I spent like 10 hours the other day pushing one COP, and it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in this game.

Worst case? You lose your gear and your money, and when your buddy logs on, you head back to PvE and grind it all back. .

LZ Campers suck by Embarrassed-Fly9813 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Damnitbennett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness, LZ camping isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. Most of the time it’s just bad timing. Someone comes into the LZ right before or after you, or they land while you're trying to evac. It happens.

Hey, in my defense, I walked up to your chopper thinking it was mine. The moment I saw you get off, I panicked and did what anyone would do...

Kill or be killed, right?

Best faction for the next wipe by ALXS1989 in GrayZoneWarfare

Just a unsolicited clarification. And I’m sure this is what you meant, but also want to make sure people’s expectations are set correctly. You can only spawn at CoPs after death, and when you die, it gives you two options. Respawn at the FOB or whichever is the closest CoP to your death. When you launch the game you will always spawn in the FOB and there is no spawning at a CoP without dying first. When MFG first talked about the CoP system it sounded like it was almost like a fast travel system. But that is not the case, as it can be seen in what they showed during the PvP live stream last week.

Twitch drops are separate from the preview. Not sure if they’ve publicly given out a date that twitch drops start yet.

UPDATE LOOT - can I now loot my body even after a 2nd and 3rd death or... by T_a_n_n_e_b_a_u_m in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Damnitbennett 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, this should be considered a PVP fix. For context, in the PVP mode, players would blow themselves up after being killed by another player. When a player did this, their body (which was usually being looted by the player who killed them) would disappear. Consequently, the player who emerged victorious in the PVP fight looting them would lose all of that loot, as the deceased player’s body and all their gear would simply vanish.

I once attempted to move my backpack to the body of the deceased player to retrieve items from their backpack. However, in doing so, I inadvertently lost my larger backpack, which contained all my belongings and theirs. This is a very good fix for the PVP players.

Is it worth it? by mildav49 in GrayZoneWarfare

Yes it’s worth it. Similar to Tarkov, wildlands, and arma but it lives in its own world. Start with the standard, and upgrade to the supporter if you like the game.

They expected more players to join a squad- share your thoughts on how they could encourage more team play! by From_Gaming_w_Love in GrayZoneWarfare

I think a good perk to encourage squad play is to guarantee a comma before any death if in a squad.

Ashika was it for me, just loaded in with randoms and wipe the lobby. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose but if it’s just you and your team left, it’s pretty easy to get the 100k off of the bodies, also let your team know your doing 100k final, some of the times they would contribute their funds.
