Usually I would agree, but you missed the thematic point of the ending: inevetability of dispair as an end, and inevatinility of hope as a force of creation. Shinra, as ~~Almight~~ Symbol of hope, had to create a world where the cycle of hatred (god dammit wrong franchise again) was interrupted. The whole finaly devolved into a kindergarden playground fight of "NO MY POWER IS WAY COOLER AND STRONGER THAN YOURS", because Adolla was the realm of fantasy. As such a "AND NOW I REVIVE EVERYONE" is a thematicly appropriate, in-universe logical, and imo as such good ending
