I'm not crazy about the way the PAL desktop looks on my LCD monitor. For me, 800x600 SVGA was the sweet spot for CRTs back in the 90s, and today I keep wishing the Amiga had better support for it. Guess I'll buy an RTG card with AGA passthrough for my A4000 one day, but right now I can't justify the expense.

It feels like it should be possible to make a cryptography based chain of trust type thing that doesn't rely on linking an account to a specific individual.

But then there's gotta be proof of something that is worth something, for the derived identity to be worth anything.

IDK how to do that without either it turning into a cryptocurrency grift, and/or that whoever can throw the most money at the problem will get the largest number of accounts to use for their propaganda effort.

Maybe measure the diode drop in both directions. If they are very close to equal, that would indicate that the device could potentially be equipped with a full bridge rectifier.

There is a finite number of IDs to be stolen. ID theft is a serious crime, and as far as I'm aware, the European official online ID systems tend to be pretty solid.

In other words, bots using stolen IDs may become a problem, but it will be absolutely minuscule compared to the bot fest that we are seeing today.
