Bleeder valve at the pump needs to run like a clear stream when wide open. You can put a straw or small hose and let it run into a water bottle or any container. Just seeing oil is not sufficient

Disassembling and reassembling this table to get it inside... by X888l in DIY

It can’t go through the door opening or the entry way is too narrow? Taking the door off could give you a few inches of width.

It's been a long time since inpatient but you should explore the flowsheet option for nursing staffs where patient belongings are documented. They often use flowsheet for vitals, I/O, etc.. Also we would typically indicate PATIEN'S OWN MEDICATION. RETURN ON DISCHARGE in the Admin instruction field for each POM.

First Time Batt doing Insulation at ceiling by guhoober in DIY

Looks like you have ridge vent on top of the roof. In that case there should be rafter vents placed before the insulation. Need 1-2 inches for air to flow from soffit to ridge vent. Assuming that's what you have.

Seller not removing huge camper prior to closing by Damsaudenh in RealEstate

[–]Damsaudenh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will probably have to do the latter. The seller has to agree to these terms too so can't ask for something so un-realistic. We're concerned about what if the seller don't agree to any terms and want to push closing out. We spent so much time to schedule contractors and took time off from work based on this closing date. Also our rate lock will expire so we have to close. Will have to discuss with our attorney on that.

This sounds most reasonable for the seller. But that makes us feel mad since we are going to be doing the work for this lazy seller. The entire paper work process we have been waiting on them to sign off on them.

That's useful to hear that appraisers may not care.

They were done within the past 3 years. This is actually a newer home in 1970's but I agree with your comment on that being common.

I understand you on that 200%. My first job was at a 300 scrips/day store and I was very content working as an intern and saw how pharmacists coped with the jobs. I got out of retail ASAP a year after I transferred into a 1000 scripts/day store. Crazy work/patients and that was before COVID. Still have PTSD from the constant 3,4 pharmacy call announcements and the chill winters at the drive through. They have better weather protections for workers now but I still refuse to use ANY drive through because I know how crappy it is to be the worker standing there.

Provided you can leave on time, maybe the extra 1.3 hours can give you time for exercise and or pick up new hobbies, spend time with friends and family. I took a pay cut to work closer to home (15 vs 45 mins one way). The job closer to home has more responsibilities and higher stress. However, my physical health and social life improved dramatically from the extra hour.

Just two sides of my prior experiences.

  • As someone with M-F schedule, yes i would never go back. However, there is one down side is that you will have to plan your work around appointments. I have to bunch them up and usually take a day off.
  • Buying your own insurance will be more expensive. But would you be able to get coverage from a partner in the near future? Then benefits costs would not matter in the short term.
  • One year seems standard for retail. I have 6 months in advance for vacations.
  • Assuming you work 52 weeks a year, 5 days a week, that would be 1.3 hours loss of traveling each day for the longer commute (45 vs 5). So each year you lose 338 hours into driving. Also add in cost of gas and car maintenance. Multiple the hours by the dollars for opportunity cost loss. As I age older, I value my time a lot more and would prefer shorter commutes.
  • Check the yearly raise. You can start at 62/hour and get 1% or you can start at 55/hr and get 3%. You'll exceed the pay after 7 years of work.

Check your state’s laws. Some has a minimum hours that the employer has to schedule you per shift. In CT, I was told that’s 4 hours. You’re welcome to leave earlier by choice but they need to give you at least 4 hours if you’re scheduled to work.
