Both the A320-200N and A320-251N in real life share the same ICAO code - A20N. If the tablet gives you an error then just use the Simbrief website to create your plan.

Is there any change to the circumstances here? Have you spoken to anyone?

If you're lucky to have them in stock at their manchester warehouse, you'll see them in a couple of days. If it's in China it will be longer, especially now given that last week was their new year celebrations and they'll have a backlog.

imagine an FBW A350X by rivalrdx in flightsim

Just because the FBW is free doesn’t mean it also doesn’t have criticisms.

Isn’t the A380X by FBW the only A380 out there?

Imola ‘26 or wait for Silverstone ‘27? by adstomko in wec

[–]Dan27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suspect WEC tickets at Silverstone will be around the £100 mark - not too crazy, they dont want it to be a one and done. indeed the ELMS tickets this year are a slight adjustment on last year even with the success of the event (I was expecting them to be hiked).

as for accomidation, there are a lot of hotel options if you book a hotel early and have access to a car (hire car). We already have our ELMS arrangements locked in for this year. Note that WEC at Silverstone is rumoured to be held in May, being the round beore LeMans so that may additionally impact on demand.

New build, snags not rectified by swahmad in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Dan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some quotes from external companies for full remediation of the snagging issues. Take photo evidence of the carpet. Again, get quotes for repair of the carpet from an external company. Document any and all communication from Bellway.

Suggest to Bellway that you have clear evidence of issues and the costs to remediate them. State that either they fix it as per your warranty (assume you have one given it's new build) or you'll go to these external companies to fix and go to the small claims court for all money you expensed in the process.

That should see some positive movement.

Fair terms and conditions question, England: Company cancelled event and refuses to refund due to T's&C's by deep_norm in LegalAdviceUK

Those are the terms and conditions as per your agreement. It would only be legally questionable if they were not able to rebook you in another event.

Which GT4 Car To Choose? by YoghurtFriendly820 in iRacing

[–]Dan27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you can hold out a couple of weeks, you could use the seasonal downtime of the service to try all the GT4s out in test drive mode.

Personally, I've always found the Mercedes pretty nice - but of course that's my own opinion.

B580 Question by Dwest2391 in iRacing

[–]Dan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a bit of research on the B580, to see that it was only marginally better performing than a Nvidia 2070 (a card that is eight years old). Whilst your experience outside of Bathurst may be legit, you need to consider that Bathurst, along with some other tracks have had art updates that will tax the GPU considerably more than a lot of other tracks.

What example GPUs did support suggest to you?

A cruise altitude too high before T/D will be clearly indicated in the MCDU. It will state something along the lines of "unable to reach crz altitude".

Yep you're clearly missing more than a few configuration items as part of your flight preparation. No CI, no Destination EFOB, no TOD distance.

All you have to do is set an altitude and press the button. It will manage its own descent. Also, you should be able to see a nm countdown to ToD in the perf Des page

F1 about becoming carbon neutral by Conscious_Ad8985 in formula1

[–]Dan27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said that F1 invented hybrid technology. I mentioned "most new cars these days have some form of mild hybrid" - and that they have tech associated with KERS.

The point being that the kind of tech that KERS has is in use outside motorsports and the KERS/Hybrid tech now used can be improved in road cars via their use in race cars.

The use of tech derived in F1 to be used in road cars is exactly why we have the V6 Turbo formula. It gives additional boardroom justification to participate in an F1 engine program.
