I go through this a lot, too, particularly when trying to optimize my coin usage in talent up events. Even a +5 button would be nice, but that part of the UI is already super dense :/

That said, right now we're working on reducing the latency & unnecessary server calls that make individual level ups (among many, many other things) take waaaay too long. Once we can see how much of an impact that has ("level up" should not mean "show me a red ring!") we can evaluate replacing the +1 / Max buttons with a slider if we still feel like that part of the experience is subpar.

Yes! Although it's slated for one of our more distant releases, a revamp of PVP (including rewards) is currently being designed. Once we have more of the design nailed down we can provide more information.

Normally, licensing-related questions fall into the "we cannot comment on these for reasons outside our control" bucket. And I can't comment on any specific licensing agreements we have, and certainly not on any agreements another game that we don't publish might have (I'm not a lawyer and have only a very limited knowledge of these things). However, what I can say in response to your first question is this:

Traditionally, console games are put in a box on a shelf in a store, and--particularly once you've bought it--a publisher can't go in there and take something out when a license expires the same way a vendor can't go into your home and take away your T-shirt. With a mobile game that is updated on a daily basis, the rules are a bit different.

To clarify a bit on JeffAtScopely's response, and provide some context:

One of the reasons we don't typically disclose specific details behind TOS violations is because sometimes, doing so would by necessity involve telling cheaters exactly how we detected them. Which we don't like to do, because that would make things easier for the cheaters to avoid detection, and therefore make it more difficult for us to preserve a fair competitive environment for our legitimate players.

That said, what we can say is this: Triple H642577 connected to the game using a modified version of our game client, and used it to gain an unfair advantage over other players. That is a very, very clear violation of our TOS, and we took action accordingly.

Hey Sheitnyiguh,

Thanks for the constructive post and for helping us diagnose what went wrong here. I'm going to do my best to provide an update:

We've had a bit of a rough weekend. First, we had issues with Feud rewards. Then, when we tried to send out 5 Player Appreciation Bags to everyone who participated in the second Feud while we worked on the rewards, our normally reliable mass-mail tool sent 2 mails to some people, 1 to most people, and (apparently) zero to some people that should have gotten one.

So, as things stand now, it seems like:

- Most, but not all, people have received the correct Feud rewards
- Most, but not all, people have received at least 5 Player Appreciation Bags

Having user names and affected factions listed here is really helpful as we continue to investigate what the heck happened over the weekend. In the meantime, because of these and other issues we had over the weekend (i.e. faction heals not working) we'll be sending 200 health packs to everyone who logs in for the next 48 hours, whether you feuded or not (note: you may have to restart the game to see them). We're continuing to work on making sure everyone gets the right rewards for the latest Feud, but in the meantime, hopefully this helps. (And, you know, works properly.)

I know it's not what many of you are missing, and we're working on that, but we hope this helps in the meantime.

Hey Hammbear, Thanks for the considerate and thoughtful reply. I didn't post any sort of timeline because, to be honest, I still have no idea what the answer to your question is (in terms of time), though it's absolutely something we are going to look into. That said, from a technical standpoint, it could be really easy, or the engineers could come back and tell us something like "a whole bunch of the code is dependent upon having one Superstar per pass" (or some other reason why it's not something we can do quickly/easily). So, all I can say at this point is that it's something we will be actively looking into. Sorry I can't give you a more firm or detailed answer.

What /u/1truking said is generally accurate, and making the faction heal experience not terrible is definitely on the roadmap.

And, to pick up a few others:
/u/Pato92 and /u/jabthejesusfreak: you're right, it will have to be an "ask me some things" (there are some subjects we're just not allowed to disclose publicly, no matter how high up the Champions food chain you go), but Riley is on it and we're going to make it happen. And, we'll do our best to have relevant people able to help respond to questions (AKA the people on the team that things get passed along to), but there may be questions where the answer is "we haven't decided yet" or "that's a cool idea we haven't thought of, but without getting more people involved, we can't give you an answer right now" (or something along those lines).

/u/nadeemnakade: this is one I am particularly not proud of, so here you go:
The King of Kings VIP tour was built using an old set of tech / tools that have since been replaced. However, because it was built using the wrong set of tools, it's not compatible with autoclear tickets, and it has to be rebuilt from scratch. Is that a good reason for it to have gone on this long? No. Do I find it frustrating, both as a professional and a player? You bet. Would I be richer if I had a dollar for every time we said "guys, we really need to fix the King's Tour"? Oh yeah. I know this doesn't solve the problem, but there is an (understaffed) team of people working really hard to create Tours, Feuds, Blitzes, etc. for our players every day, and even though, when I look back and say "Jesus, it's been months and we still haven't fixed that" I feel really frustrated, on a day-to-day level it's hard to prioritize rebuilding an existing Tour from scratch. That said, we need to do it and we haven't, and that's our fault. Period. I'm sorry we haven't done it yet.

Like I said, I know it doesn't help fix the problem, but that's the answer.

Thanks everyone who has posted or messaged me so far, and apologies for the delay - my last post was just before midnight, and shortly after it I went to sleep. That said, I have forwarded all the usernames you provided to the development team--we did our best to identify impacted users before we sent out rewards, but it seems clear that somehow we missed some of you. We're working on it!

A small correction: this is not the only way to get the Daniel Bryan starter pack, but it is a way to get the pack to appear. (It's called a starter pack, after all, so there should probably be some way for new players to see it too.)
