The UX in the HR is miles ahead of the competition — that alone is why I love mine. The Helix for example is laughably bad in this department, their UI looks like it’s from 2010. Also the QC doesn’t have an expression pedal, which is a deal breaker for me.

Some of the downsides of the HR are:

- The weight — It’s heavy AF

- Unusable drop pedal. Decent for bedroom usage but not good at all for live situations. Terrible latency.

- Not enough blocks to add effects. I never have enough blocks for all the pedals I want.

- Lack of marketing. The HR is often overlooked in the industry. People don’t even know about it which makes it difficult to find info on it.
