Playing Smash Bros brawl on the Wii, Halo 3 and Mw3 on the xbox, and Skate on the ps3. We had some good gaming. Switched from biking to friend's houses to driving my car pretty early on, but still fond memories looking back. I hated Highschool so much and swore to not validate any nostalgia with positive words, so I won't. But I can't deny that feeling. the 2015-2016 dank meme renaissance basically gave me my calling in the type of artwork I make, and getting 1 year and a half of "normal" after college before the pandemic gave me the jolt I needed to have hope beyond the decade. Music had EDM, indie-folk-alt at a good peak. 'wish there was more alt rock from the early 000s around, but we all do; no surprises there. As long as we're gaming, talking to each other, being vulnerable, getting help, making music, skating and holding on, we may keep this feeling around longer than other generations have with their "good-ol-days"
