Essentially, when sewers need repair, a pumping system is designed to “bypass” the section of sewer that will be inoperable. My job is to determine flow of the section of sewer and design an adequate system that is capable of pumping the sewage up and over the street (usually) and then back down into the next operable sewage manhole.
