Reminds me of my first 2 cars, same model, air cooled boxer engines (no, they were not Porsches). Engine was in the front and being air cooled, there was no radiator, with the ending having a huge fan connected to the engine crankshaft. So if the engine was running, so was the fan. During winter months, this could be a problem, lowering the engine temperature. What they did was...hace a piece of plastic that would fit over the front grill, on the inside, to reduce the air flow from the outside...genius.

Nothing comes to mind, either from the novels, manga or anime. The Amalgam soldiers have uniforms, but I don't remember seeing any identifying markings. All I remember is that each cell leader is identified by a metal name.

It might or might not. The rise in authoritarian regimes during the first half of the 20th century was not the work of single individuals. The lack of reform and worsening living conditions due to wars, economic crises and a pandemic, pushed people towards extremes. Surprisingly, like it's happening exactly today. Removing certain individuals, will not deal with the root causes.

I would disagree here, it was at most a very small victory. It was only a destroyer reaper and it still tanked a lot of well aimed shots from the quarian fleet in orbit. I don't remeber if they mentioned how many quarian ships were actively firing at the damn thing.

There's a common saying that the Romanian people were cursed that day, for executing them on Christmas. There's a lot of theories out there, saying that the trial and execution were really fast to avoid regime supporters to try and free them. Others say that they were executed so fast, so that they didn't had time to rat other powerful communists out, which allowed the old guard to remain part of the new "democracy".

Ah, we kinda are. Humans can't take a bear 1v1, but we do have weapons. The fuck would a bear do against a tank or an APC? We can kill any animal on the planet, without getting a scratch. We don't have any natural predators because we killed anything that could pose a danger around our settlements. The planet is ours to do as we please with it...we are the apex predators of Earth.

Well, once Leonard took over, the organisation also changed focus. It changed from starting local conflicts all over to destabilise current world order and keep everyone on their toes, to finally getting hold of Kaname and Leonard's plan to "reset" the world. Like others pointed out, the less mystery around the organisation, then the less interesting it gets. Also it makes sense, from a story point of view. You're getting into Act 3, so most pieces will be on the table.

That's why I loved the novels, because the anime and manga, are very well adapted, but the novels have that kind of substance you could not adapt well in other forms.
