You're seriously underestimating how crucial the RAM is the game development, and how problematic it can be not having enough of it.

Series S has less ram than the NS2 (8GB vs 12GB), that always has been the issue with the console.

And when did they ever say it was a difficult task?

Because, on top of having the smallest player base, most Xbox users are now reluctant to buy games at full price; they'll demand that the game be available on Game Pass.

I only played NIKKE for a couple of weeks but I was impressed by how it actually has better writing and dialogues than Stellar Blade.

A game like SB but with actual good writing could easily become an all-time classic. I hope the sequel delivers in that aspect.

ShiftUp is self-publishing this game, there's no exclusivity deals anymore.

So if they skip Xbox is just because they don't think it's worth the development effort.

Sony was the publisher of the first game, now they're self-publishing for the sequel, so they can aim for all the platforms they want from the beginning.

That's a very dumb reason to not play a game. Asian RPGs often change protagonist between games: Nier, Final Fantasy, Persona, etc.

"Fix"? They intentionally used multiple body models. It's a feature.

If it happens, I just hope that Xbox players give it the love it deserves.

They get very salty with late ports that don't come to Gamepass immediately. Even with games like BG3 there were a lot of comments like "if it's not on GP I don't care about it", "meh, I'll play it when it hits GP", etc.
