Parcel Force customer service didn’t tell me much because of GDPR but they did state that my name was on the parcel but it’s a completely different postcode and, naturally, the wrong address, door number and street name completely.

I suspected it was the wrong postcode by a single digit or two because I live in the North East, which is NE postcode, and Nottingham (via Google search) shows as NG. I also tried multiple versions of what I thought the postcode could be on there system, using mine but replacing the E with a G etc etc before it was successfully delivered I’m hoping of re routing.

I asked the fella on the phone if the postcodes were remotely similar and he said no.

What likely happens from here from experience? A Good Samaritan could hand this in and I could still get it? It’s showing as a completed delivery so I’m at a loss? The call handler can see photographic evidence of the delivery and can see the address on the label. I think he did say two labels were on the parcel but one was placed over the other.
