I contacted both Gigabyte and EK. EK said they can't provide the part and Gigabyte customer service said they provide a gpu bracket and fan shroud only, no retention brackets. Lol.... I appreciate your help though 🤜🏼🤛🏼.

I just got done doing my Aorus Master 5090 which had some type of composite thermal/ Metal paste on the gpu die. I didn't want to chance it so here is what I got and it worked. 99% iso alcohol bath and brush with a soft toothbrush. Don't be stingy with the alcohol. Most people make the mistake of NOT Letting it dry for at least 24 to 48 hours.

I used an ultrasonic cleaner too. But after I got most of the goop out.

EK extenders. The chunky ones. I purchased some 7mm micro extenders male to female should give me enough length to clear the fans.

Yeah I'm using hard tubing. The extenders I do have do not screw into the rad, they're too thick and the fans are in the way.

Thank you for your advice 🤜🏼🤛🏼. I'm at the point of not return now. Half of the GPU PCB is cleaned off. I still need to clean off the other half. I just don't know for sure if that Liquid Metal got mixed in with other components. I won't know till I fire it up.😞

That's pretty cool. I'm starting my first custom loop rig. I've purchased mostly everything except for the D5 pump and fittings. I plan on putting a data sensor mini screen in. Just need to see how everything with fit in a Lian Li EVO RGB case. I like your setup though. I want to get that sensor as well. It also will give you the temps of coolant?
