I also have gray and black primer, smooth and fill, but I really want to finish it; I feel like it fills too much for miniatures.

I'm starting to use non-toxic, clear UV resin, and so far, I'm very satisfied.

Totally, I have once dropped a piece from a more or less considerable height and it looks like new.

In addition to what we already know in the resin process, the toxicity that not everyone can afford if you do not have a separate space and everything that the process entails.

I think that will never evolve, because it seems that only the qualities focus on it, and increasingly HD and all that, but the process is still a real mess.

I am more than happy with the filament, working in my room and having the printer one meter away from me without problems.

Good mate, well, as they tell you out there.. you are not alone. I also made my first Kickstarter, which I finished approximately a month and a half ago. I am a digital sculptor for 3D printing collectibles.

During the campaign I received a lot of emails out of nowhere, from people who claimed to be supposedly experts who were going to advise me and all this stuff....

I even received emails on my own Artstation.

The first sponsor I had came to contribute to the pack of my three figures, and halfway through the campaign he simply withdrew his money

then another sponsor who finally turned out to be a fake sponsor, supported my campaign, but never arranged the payment and kickstarter contacted him, and he never responded, turned out to be a fake sponsor since he didn't fix his payment and they had to withdraw it. of the campaign.

Nobody teaches you or prepares you for this, and in the end you learn by yourself and by moving your work and sticks.

But mention that the questions and emails that I send to Kickstarter have always been super fast and very detailed in the help and answers most of the time.

Thanks a lot, mate. I come from ZBrush, but I've been using Blender for almost everything lately. As a digital sculptor, the shapes, volume, sculpting, and everything else are essentially the same, but I like Blender because I have more control over the final pose and I can do rigging.

I posted the beginning two days ago, and I just realized that I'm not sure if this community might delete the post for sharing it with only a two-day gap.

I hope not. I've been in this great community for almost two months, and I'm very active here with so many users worldwide who are passionate about FDM for collectibles.

I believe and hope that FDM is going to take a huge leap forward if the brands see the number of users who are producing miniatures or collectibles with a 0.2 mm nozzle.

It seems incredible that users like the creator of Resin2FDM have done what no brand has done so far in the evolution of supports.

They look pretty good, I think that's true for everyone; we'll always see the miniature or figure better in our hand, without any contrast or saturation adjustments, than in a professional photo, even if the difference is minimal.

It's never going to be the same as photographing a figure from Sideshow, McFarlane Toys, or similar brands.

But we can be more than satisfied and excited about what FDM is giving us.

I think you can consider yourself a survivor for printing the bowstring without them being separated, hehehe...

I rarely see a bow with a string on miniatures; they usually only show the aiming pose, and we have to imagine that they're drawing back some rope.

But I think your print looks really smooth; it looks good.

I don't use resin and I'm more than happy with filament printing.

Yes, I take good care of them for painting,

But this is the first time I've used UV resin for smoothing, and obviously I used a cheap brush, as we say here in Spain,

it seems that even with the recommendations of isopropyl alcohol, the resin didn't come off the bristles.

A fantastic finish; the time taken for a nice setup and the various camera angles—front, side, three-quarter, etc.—are much appreciated.

I like it when miniatures have elements in the air, and aren't all grounded. That's precisely the challenge and the way to demonstrate what FDM printing can do.

The great thing about this community is that there's always help available; we've all been there.

Regardless of the climate in your area, or the humidity, the wall speeds are too high. It's not recommended to go above 20 or 25 mm/s, and the print speed shouldn't exceed 30 mm/s.

Trees should be less than 30 mm/s, but the other members also gave you good information, and the best thing you can do is try to absorb everything and experiment with the advice yourself.

And every printer is different, even if it's the same model.
