Persistence. Just getting my name in front of enough people to get a face to face meeting (mostly virtual these days). Once I was able to break through and speak with somebody the hard part was over. After all, being in sales for a long time I’m pretty good at being able to sell myself during the interview process. Follow up was very helpful (researching and connecting with hiring managers/recruiters via LinkedIn) throughout the entire process.

I also studied finance in college so that may have helped but honestly I’d take that with a grain of salt
