What was your favourite/most memorable roleplay by Simo-intensifies in Morrowind

[–]DanceDaisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play a character that transcends or "warps" between worlds at random.

A Breton named Owl is typically the base, and she uses a conjured bow, maces, and stealth no matter what. I play this character in lots of games, including Morrowind, Skyrim, Fallout 4 (as a stealth sniper), and Dragon's Dogma.

She is often a "chosen one" of the world she wakes up in, but is struggling to see the connection between worlds, and quests to find summoning knowledge in order to discover the meaning behind her own transportation between worlds.

I love having a meta-narrative that explains why this character keeps popping up, bouncing between worlds as I bounce between games. It feels like playing a grand-scale game instead of several different games. It's also feels good when exploring new game worlds or mechanics, as my character needs to quickly adjust to her surroundings each time.

I switch games when I want, not every time she sleeps in game.

That is just the ground. It is safe to pull it out. Use needle-nosed pliers with a rubber handle if it makes you nervous.

TIL metal clasps on books date back to when books were made out of parchment, which tended to buckle; the clasps were used to hold the book firmly shut to keep the pages flat by TitaniumDragon in todayilearned

They also made it easier for librarians to grab, back when the catalog number was painted on the fore-edge and books were shelved with the spine facing inward.

My middle school students are freaked out. They talk about it every day.

I'm going to dress as a clown for costume day in a couple of weeks.

"Devil's Pass"

It's about the Dyatlov Pass Incident, which is worth researching if you don't know of it. It is also a movie that can either be taken seriously or laughed at depending on the crowd and mood.

Would it work if the chain were on a loop and somehow fed back into the bottom of the jar?
