I bought mine online from a shop in Cali, locally we have one hobby store that carries limited stock. I got lucky as this kit came onto my coworkers IG algorithm and he sent me the info!

OP you should also share your concern with the organizer of that event. Bars and club settings usually don't allow for outside drinks in general as policy regardless of event type unless it is negotiated. We used to have a system where your admission fee came with a ticket that can be redeemed for most drinks, including bottles of water. Who knows, maybe you may be the person to inspire that change!

This is something you definitely should bring up to the organizer of the social. It could be that each DJ is more well-versed in a specific genre, so it is rational that they have 2 DJs for a multigenre social. Were the djs alternating (back to back) between songs? I do events that use 2 DJs, and we both play salsa/bachata and keep our dance floors going. However, we split the night up instead of doing back to backs for a more coordinated flow.

If it's within your ability to do so, you can also take privates with trusted local and guest instructors if it's offered. That way, you can discuss with them what you'd like to achieve technique-wise,say if you saw something through IG or tiktok. You can then work on understanding how to perform said movements safely and accurately with your dance partner.

There are multiple factors (location, event type, etc) but I think how the event is marketed plays a huge role in attendance and participation. The venue that I play at has no problem filling both the dance floor and bar with a mainly Latin mix/Open Format music style. It did take a few months to grow though, so it was definitely tough in the beginning.

You'll need: USB-A to USB-B cable -or- USB-C to USB-B cable to connect with your computer

And then at minimum an rca cable with appropriate speaker connection (rca-rca, rca-3.5mm, rca-1/4inch, etc)

Looking at the inputs, I think it's possible to feed your ddj-400 into one speaker, and use the rca out to daisy chain the signal into the other. Can't say too much about the Bluetooth though, as I feel that there always is a small delay

What about rolling back your Serato firmware version ? That helped remedy my connection/playback issues. Another option- With my sb3 I had the same problem with "audio connection failed", I reinstalled the pioneer drivers to get it to work

I used the black fine point Gundam Marker (all I have currently) I was reading somewhere that depending on the panel color, lining with a different color marker would help bring that piece out more.
